Cine IRIX 21mm Lens

Designed to capture up to 8K cinema-style images, the IRIX PL-mount 21mm T1.5 cine lens produces a wider-angle, distortion-free look that is compatible with sensor sizes up to 35mm full-frame. External features include a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus markings on the feet, and a detachable 1/4"-20 support foot. Internally, 11 blades produce smooth, rounded bokeh, and four seals protect against inclement weather and dust. A fast T1.5 maximum aperture allows the 21mm T1.5 IRIX T1.5 cine lens to capture images in low-light conditions without the need for super-high ISO settings.

This lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy lens produces smooth, rounded bokeh, color, and contrast that matches the T1.5 30 and 45mm prime lenses in the IRIX Cine series. An adaptive focus ring offers smooth focusing whether used manually or with a lens motor.

The look IRIX
The IRIX Cine 21mm is a 43.3mm full-frame wide-angle lens that conveys the IRIX "look" with shallow depth of field, soft reflections, subtle fog, and distinctive bokeh created by the rounded foils of the iris.

Distortion-free wide-angle lens
Wide enough to work in tight spaces but not so wide as to distort, the IRIX Cine 21mm maintains the natural proportions of the subject and creates a sense of being there in the shot for viewers.

Ready for any weather conditions
Rain or shine, the IRIX 21mm Cine's rugged and durable construction ensures you can keep working no matter what the weather throws at you. The lens is resistant to rain, sand, and dust, so you can take it with you on your next desert or jungle adventure if your camera can withstand those environments. The marks etched into the lens have been filled with UV-reactive paint, making filming in difficult lighting conditions much easier.

Functionality & Innovation
All cine lenses IRIX have very similar dimensions and weight, allowing for quick and easy lens changes without the need to change the rest of the settings. The product is equipped with a magnetic mounting system (MMS) that allows you to connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge line or an optional lens hood.

The IRIX Cine 21mm was designed in accordance with the standards of the professional film industry, being the result of a combination of traditional lens solutions and modern innovation. This 21mm has a front filter thread size of 95mm and toothed MOD rings of 0.8, ensuring compatibility with most accessories available on the market.

Magnetic mounting system
All IRIX Cine lenses have a Magnetic Mount System (MMS) compatible with the separately available IRIX Edge MMS filters and MMS IRIX lens hood. The IRIX Edge magnetic filters have a unique threadless design, so you can be sure that everything will stay clean and ready for action. MMS filters can be stacked together, allowing you to not only combine them freely but also save space when stored. All IRIX Edge MMS filters are made of toughened optical glass (SR) with an anti-reflective multi-layer nano-coating that makes them easy to clean.

Lightweight and compact design
The aluminum-magnesium alloy construction makes the lens housing weigh only 2.4 to 2.6 pounds, depending on the mount. It has a front outer diameter of 95 mm to fit most matte enclosures and accessories, an 86 mm filter thread, and a front magnetic mounting system (MMS) for quick filter and hood replacement.

Improved Lens Cover
The previous lens cover didn't allow the lens to be left on a surface, so the upgraded cover has a flat superior part and slides over the lens. Thanks to this redesign, you can now leave the lens upside down on a table and not worry about it wobbling.
