Irix Cine 65mm was designed in accordance with the standards of the professional film industry, being the result of a combination of traditional lens solutions and modern innovation. Irix Cine 65mm has a front filter thread size of 95mm and Mod 0.8 M geared rings, which ensure compatibility with most accessories available on the market.

Magnetic mounting system

All Irix Cine lenses (except the T4.3 11mm Irix lens) have a magnetic mounting system (MMS) that is compatible with Irix Edge MMS, Vari ND filters, and Irix MMS lens hood. The Irix Edge magnetic filters have a unique threadless design, so you can be sure that everything will be clean and ready for action. Don't hesitate any longer with a dirty or dusty filter thread.

The stackable MMS filter allows you to not only combine them freely but also saves a lot of space when stored.

The MMS lens hood effectively protects the lens from unwanted light that can cause ghosting and flare.

All filters in the Irix Edge Magnetic Mounting System (MMS) are made of toughened optical glass (SR), making them extremely robust. The surfaces of the filters are covered with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating with a special nano-coating that makes cleaning easier.

Irix and gimbals work great together

All Irix have a similar weight, which makes swapping them out for gimbals much easier. In addition, focus gears help with any wireless tracking focus. The weight of around 1kg works as a perfect counterweight to most mirrorless cameras, making it easy to balance. We personally tested it on many gimbals from the most popular brands such as Zhiyun or DJI and were very happy with the performance of everything as a whole.
