The Manfrotto 559B-2 Digital Video Monopod w/ Quick Release Plate supports up to 9.9 lb to serve as a sturdy one-legged support for a compact camcorder. Constructed of lightweight aluminum, the 559B-2 monopod weighs only 1.2 lb and reaches a maximum height of 63.0". It retracts to only 21.9" for convenient storage and easy transport.

The four-section monopod comes with a 200PL-14 camera plate, which has a 1/4"-20 screw and a video pin for extra camcorder stability. The quick-release element features a secondary safety system to ensure that the plate & camera will not be inadvertently freed from the monopod.
