The tempered glass ensures durability and the AF coating maintains the sensitivity of touch controls, even with a wet camera. When you turn on the Always-On Display feature, the two screens display the duration and recording specifications to reduce power consumption. DJI brings target tracking to an action camera. Action 5 Pro intelligently detects the position of the lens and dynamically adjusts the composition. Keep the subject in the center at all frames, during landscape or portrait shooting.

Osmo Action 5 Pro uses RockSteady 3.0 technology to stabilize videos. This Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) technology is achieved by increasing the shutter speed, analyzing the images captured by the CMOS sensor, and cropping the margins of those images to compensate. In this way, multiple frames are superimposed and finally combined into a single frame that is sharp, defined and with precise exposure.

HorizonSteady uses the latest DJI stabilization algorithm to correct for shaking from any horizontal rotation (360°) and lock in a level horizon at every frame, regardless of how the camera is mounted or carried. It allows you to capture smooth and steady videos, whether you're pedaling on a bumpy road or having fun on a go-kart track.

D-Log M is designed to capture a wide dynamic range from the sensor, and colors are evenly distributed, so the bright and dark parts of the video have higher fidelity and clarity. It's not a lookup table, but a lower-contrast video with a flat color profile, perfect for increasing post-processing options.

Super Night mode supports 1080p recording at 24/25/30 fps, 2.7K (16:9) at 24/25/30, and 4K (16:9) at 24/25/30 fps. You can activate RockSteady 3.0 or RockSteady 3.0+, and choose between standard or wide field of view. It is advisable to use this mode in darker nighttime urban scenes. For urban night scenes with basic lighting, the standard video mode will suffice.

Target Tracking mode keeps the subject in the centre of the frame and follows them continuously, making it ideal for capturing various tracking situations, such as skiing, skating, cycling or motorcycling. This mode is not suitable for tracking pets or other non-human targets.

When using Target Tracking mode, a gray frame will appear in the center of the camera view. When a person is centered in the camera view, they will be prioritized as the target to follow and a yellow box will appear indicating that the target has been selected. Press the shutter/record button to start recording, and the yellow box will change to green, indicating that the lens is locked on and tracking has begun. As the lens moves, the gray frame will move accordingly to help the user maintain consistency in the shot. If the target you are following is lost, the green box will change to red. If the lens is lost for more than 10 seconds, even if it returns to the camera view, tracking will not automatically resume and the gray frame will return to the center. To reset Goal Tracking, you need to relock to the target and start recording again."

 Osmo Action 5 Pro supports voice commands in both English and Mandarin Chinese. It is recommended to use voice control within one meter of the camera and in a relatively quiet environment.

After recording a video with Osmo Action 5 Pro and the selfie stick, you can connect it to the DJI Mimo app to remove the selfie stick. See the details in the video tutorial.

 To ensure that the removal effect works properly, use the Osmo 1.5m extendable arm when recording and try not to cover any part of your body with it. InvisiStick supports video up to 1920×1080 when deleted in the cloud, and video up to 1280×720 when deleted locally.

In standard movie mode, shoot in 1080p at 100/120/240 fps or 2.7K/4K (16:9) at 100/120 fps. Then, apply 4x frame interpolation to achieve up to 1080p/960fps, creating 32x super slow-motion video (1080p/240fps to 1080p/960fps). 

This feature does not require switching to slow-motion mode. You can record in standard movie mode. During playback, if the video is longer than 3 seconds, tap the snail icon anytime you want to apply the slow-motion process and save a super-slow-motion version of the original video.
