The updated design of the integrated propeller guard makes Avata 2 lighter and more agile to fly freely in tight spaces. when you release the RC Motion 3's throttle or press the lock button, the drone comes to a stop so you can control unexpected situations with peace of mind. In addition, the automatic Return to Point of Origin (RPO) function is initiated when the drone's battery level is low or if the signal is lost, for an added level of safety.
Advanced positioning with new sensors
New binocular fisheye sensors enable bottom and rear visual positioning during low altitude and indoor flights for improved stability and flight safety.
Turtle Mode
With Turtle mode enabled, Avata 2 can automatically turn around to return to the takeoff position when it is upside down, so you can take off again quickly.

The new bi-directional charging hub DJI Avata 2 has an energy storage function that allows you to transfer the remaining energy from multiple batteries to the one with the highest charge level, so you have an "extra battery" at critical times.
O4 video transmission - enhanced perception
The increased stability of the DJI O4 video transmission allows you to fully immerse yourself in every flight and offers more safety. Its design of two transmitters, four receivers and four antennas ensures powerful anti-jamming capability and offers a maximum video transmission distance of up to 13 km, a minimum transmission latency of 24 ms, high-definition image quality at 1080p/100 fps and a maximum transmission bit rate of 60 Mb/s.

The LightCut app, which connects directly to DJI Avata 2 via Wi-Fi, lets you intelligently add Sky VFX during post-editing, based on the flight path captured in your videos, to help you easily create compelling aerial content. With no need to download videos, the app offers editing and, in combination with One Touch Editing, allows you to quickly and easily produce polished content.
