ACI - Automatic Capacity Identification

The HED-NPF665 battery features an innovative and world-first Automatic Capacity Indication ( ACI ) system . This revolutionary technology automatically displays the capacity status of the battery as soon as it is placed in the unit, without the need to press any buttons or activate the function manually. Fully autonomous and self-operating, it provides hands-free convenience for the operator, allowing a quick glance at the battery's uninterrupted state of charge for instant access to essential information.

INTELLIGENT LOW CAPACITY ALARM (LCA)

Hedbox R&D is pleased to introduce a groundbreaking innovation in the global video and photo market: a state-of-the-art continuous intelligent monitoring alarm designed for low battery charges. With a patent pending, our IDL EMERGENCY ALARM is designed to activate when the battery capacity level drops below 10%. It activates a distinctive and easily visible IDL identification LED that flashes in silent mode (no buzzing). This unique feature serves as a warning to users, indicating that the battery has dropped below the 10% capacity threshold.

USB-C PD3.0 / 20W

The HED-NPF665 battery is enhanced with a USB-C power input, allowing it to be charged directly with any USB-C charger that supports 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A or 15V/1A (20W). This USB-C port supports a wide range of charging protocols, including PD3.0, QC2.0, QC3.0, PPS, AFC, FCP, SCP, DCP-1.5A and APPLE-2.4A. This flexible design eliminates the need for a dedicated NPF battery charger, providing users with a convenient and efficient charging solution.

Injection molded power pins

The HED-NPF665 battery incorporates advanced injection molded power pins, providing a secure and highly durable connection for a reliable power supply. This innovative production technology integrates the power pins directly into the battery housing, creating a strong, compact and unbreakable junction

IDL LED control display

The battery is equipped with a two-color ( RED and GREEN ) LED control display, which provides a clear indication of the various battery statuses. When connected to a USB-C port or standard NPF charger for charging, the LED flashes RED , notifying the user that the battery is actively charging. Once fully charged, the LED changes to steady GREEN , indicating that the battery is ready for use. This feature provides users with convenient visual monitoring of the battery's charge status.

Ultra-high capacity of 3200mAh

The HED-NPF665 features state-of-the-art battery technology HEDBOX. Designed in the same size as the standard Sony NPF-550 battery, it boasts an impressive 3200mAh capacity, i.e. 30% higher energy density than the original. Despite the higher capacity, the battery maintains reliable and safe operation thanks to its advanced battery management system (BMS).

A 35W USB-C to USB-C charging cable is included in the battery pack, ensuring that the battery can be charged and used immediately. This cable is specifically designed to be compatible with all HEDBOX NPF battery series.
