Fujinon designed its Polaris FMTR-SX 16x70 2022 Polaris binoculars to provide expansive views with exceptional light gathering capabilities for long-range or wide-view terrestrial astronomical observation. The large 70mm objectives are fully multi-coated to limit light loss, increase brightness and enhance color fidelity. Patented EBC prism coatings reduce internal light loss due to diffraction while increasing color and contrast. Powerful 16x magnification coupled with a large eye relief and comfortably wide exit pupils allow detailed observation of distant subjects such as birds or animals, as well as kite hunting and lunar observation.

Polaris binoculars are equipped with individually focusable eyepieces that allow precise control of each eyepiece, so you can achieve the sharpest possible image. Foldable rubber eyecups fit over the eye socket to block peripheral light, increasing the brightness of the view through the binoculars. To alleviate user fatigue and provide vibration-free viewing, it is recommended that the Polaris binoculars be mounted on a tripod using the concealed 1/4"-20 socket located on the front of the hinge with an optional tripod adapter. To help withstand the rigors of outdoor life, the chassis is made of lightweight, durable aluminum alloy with rubber armoring and the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof and waterproof performance in even the most extreme conditions. The chassis is also wrapped in a textured skin to provide a non-slip grip.
