This higher video resolution unlocks 2x digital zoom functionality, bringing additional in-camera versatility without a noticeable drop in quality.
External raw recording
Both F-Log and F-Log2 recording are possible, with the latter providing an extended dynamic range of more than 13 stops. In addition, ProRes RAW and 12-bit RAW Blackmagic can be sent via HDMI to Atomos devices and Blackmagic accordingly.
425-point Intelligent Hybrid AF system
With excellent autofocus performance, the X-T5 uses 425 phase detection points and now has a sensitivity of down to -7 EV for working in low-light conditions. In addition, backed by deep learning, an adaptive AI algorithm means that this focusing system is better suited to automatically detect and track animals, athletes, birds, cars, motorcycles and moving subjects.
In-body image stabilization
Thanks to the camera's in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system, camera shake that reduces quality is minimized. Built-in 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization helps minimize the appearance of camera shake at up to 7 stops. This system works in conjunction with most X-Series lenses, including unstabilized ones, and offers advantages when working with slower shutter speeds and when shooting in difficult lighting conditions. In addition, digital image stabilization can also be used during video recording to further help stabilize footage, especially when shooting portably.
Multi-shot with pixel shift
By using the camera's IBIS system to precisely shift the sensor, Pixel Shift Multishot automatically records 20 separate frames with a press of the shutter release. The resulting files are combined with Pixel Shift Combiner software to quadruple the camera's resolution and produce a detail-rich 160MP file. Perfect for commercial or digital archiving applications, it is also ideal for any static subject where image quality is of paramount importance.
Built for speed
The X-T5 provides powerful imaging performance to ensure you're ready for action, no matter how fast your subject moves. An electronic shutter speed superior 1/180,000 sec and a maximum mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000 sec will stop any subject in its tracks, while a lag time of just 35ms provides an almost instantaneous response when the shutter release is pressed. Keep one finger down and the X-T5 will record images at up to 15fps with the mechanical shutter or 20fps with the electronic shutter. Either way, you won't miss any important moments.

Features of the FUJI 150-600mm f5.6-8 R LM OIS WR lens
1) Zoom lens that covers the longest super-telephoto range of the Fujifilm line in search of superior image quality
The new lens covers the longest focal length range in the Fujifilm line, from the 150mm telephoto lens to the 600mm super-telephoto lens (equivalent to 229mm - 914mm in the 35mm film format), making it the perfect choice for wildlife, bird and sports photography.
The lens, which consists of 24 lens elements in 17 groups, including three ED elements and four Super ED elements, completely suppresses the axial chromatic aberration typically seen in super-telephoto lenses. It offers a high level of edge-to-edge image resolution performance throughout the zoom range.
HT-EBC coating, which is typically used in transmission lenses, has been applied to all elements to achieve high transmittance and low reflectance despite containing 24 lens elements.
Supports "XF2X TC WR" and "XF1.4X TC WR" teleconverters. When combined with the XF2X TC WR, this lens covers a range of focal lengths from 300mm to 1200mm (equivalent to 457mm - 1828mm in the 35mm film format).
(2) Rugged yet lightweight design to reduce user load, allowing for long shots in a variety of situations
It weighs just 1605g despite being a super telephoto zoom lens that reaches up to 600mm (equivalent to 914mm in the 35mm film format). Two Super ED elements are used as front elements to keep the lens body small while maintaining an advanced level of image resolution performance. The use of the Inner Zoom system means that the lens body has a simple, non-extensible structure. The result is a lightweight lens that zooms easily without changes in weight distribution.
The lens body is matte silver to mitigate its temperature rise during operation. This reduces the risk of the lens getting hot even during photographing wildlife, birds or sports in sweltering heat, giving users peace of mind.
Magnesium alloy is used for the internal base frame that supports the lens structure to keep the weight down and make it robust at the same time.
The lens cylinder is weather-sealed in 19 locations to ensure dust and weather resistance and the ability to operate at temperatures up to minus 10 degrees Celsius. It can withstand use in nature photography on a snowfield or in the tropics, or in sports photography under adverse weather conditions.
(3) 5-stop image stabilization mechanism
With the 600mm super-telephoto focal length (equivalent to 914mm in the 35mm film format), the longest in Fujifilm's lineup (*1), the size of the camera shake becomes too large to control with in-body image stabilization. Therefore, it becomes necessary to apply a fine adjustment of the optical axis on the lens before an image is formed on the sensor. The XF150-600mmF5.6-8 R LM OIS WR features a high-precision detection and control system to deliver a 5-stop (*2) optical image stabilization mechanism, one of the most powerful for super-telephoto zooms, making it easier than ever to shoot in the super telephoto range, more susceptible to camera shake. Users can take full advantage of the mobility of the compact X-mount when taking handheld super-telephoto photography.
*1 As of May 31, 2022
*2 CIPA compliant in pitch/yaw directions
(4) Various functions for fast, quiet AF and easy AF operation
The lens uses the Inner Focus system, which drives the compact and lightweight focus lens group with a linear motor for fast and quiet AF. Focusing is achieved quickly and accurately in just 0.25 seconds (*3), even in the hard-to-focus super-telephoto range, ensuring you capture a decisive photo opportunity.
The Focus Preset function is introduced so that the lens remembers the focus for a predefined location with the SET button (*4). Users can keep shooting without having to readjust the focus on a target subject.
The focus limiter is another feature that allows users to restrict the autofocus range of the lens. This can effectively shorten AF time when photographing a subject that is 5 meters or more away. The focus limiter can be activated with the focus range selector.
The focus control button is located on the front edge of the lens cylinder (*4). Use the focus selection switch for increased AF operability and focus lock.
*3 AF speed measured at the telephoto end, using an internal measurement method that complies with CIPA guidelines, when mounted on the mirrorless digital camera "FUJIFILM X-T4" with phase detection AF activated and high-performance mode activated. The AF speed at the wide-angle end in identical conditions is approx. 0.15 seconds.
*4 The camera's firmware must be updated to activate the Focus Preset function and the Focus Control button. The update will be released later for the FUJIFILM X-T4, FUJIFILM X-T3 and FUJIFILM X-S10.
