EOS R6 II Features
Combining solid photographic performance with adequate video capabilities, the EOS R6 Mark II from Canon is a versatile mirrorless body for the multimedia creator. An updated 24.2 MP CMOS sensor combines with upgraded processing for improved AF, stunning 10-bit 4K 60p video and faster overall performance. In addition, the camera body has been updated for more intuitive operation, including a redesigned top plate for easier access to different shooting modes.
24.2 MP full-frame sensor and DIGIC X processing
Updated full-frame sensor
Hitting a sweet spot in terms of resolution, the R6 Mark II incorporates a new 24.2MP CMOS sensor that is versatile for still and video applications, performs well in low-light conditions, and produces striking, accurate colors.
DIGIC X processor
Borrowed from the R3, the R6 Mark II's enhanced processing suits the multimedia nature of the camera. Capable of high-speed burst processing as well as high-resolution 4K video, the DIGIC X supports continuous shooting at up to 40 fps with a silent electronic shutter or 12 fps with a mechanical shutter, with AF and AE readouts before each frame. There is also a 30 fps RAW burst mode, which offers pre-release capture to record moments that happened up to 0.5 seconds before the shutter was pressed.
In addition, enhanced processing leads to improved low-light performance, with a sensitivity range now extending from ISO 100-102400 and expandable to ISO 204800 for working in very difficult lighting conditions.
4K UHD video recording
Beyond still images, the R6 Mark II's sensor also offers internal high-resolution UHD 4K 60p video using the full width of the sensor and the ability to work with 10-bit sampling with Canon Log 3. A 6K recording area can also be used for oversampling. 4K recording at 30p for improved sharpness, reduced moiré and reduced noise. And, for slow motion playback, 180p recording is supported up to Full HD resolution.
HDR-PQ recording is also possible for in-camera HDR production and external recording, via the micro-HDMI port, which supports clean 6K output at up to 60 fps. In addition, unlimited recording times are also possible, and the R6 Mark II features microphone and headphone ports, as well as a multi-function hot shoe for broad accessory compatibility.
External 6K raw recording
Using the micro-HDMI port, raw video recording is possible when combined with a compatible external recorder. ProRes RAW up to 6K 60p is possible using the full sensor width, as well as 3.7K raw recording with a crop.
Autofocus and image stabilization
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II
Sensor-shift image stabilizer
An in-body Image Stabilizer (IBIS) corrects up to 7 stops of unwanted camera shake when shooting handheld, which helps with shooting handheld in low light and reduces shake when shooting video. This 5-axis system can also be used in conjunction with lenses with optical image stabilization to compensate for up to 8 stops of camera shake, depending on the specific lens used. In addition, Movie Digital IS uses optical and sensor-shift stabilization methods in conjunction with digital IS to help acquire more stable images while moving.
Body design
EVF and vari-angle LCD touchscreen display

Canon RF 28-70mm f2 L USM lens features
Combining the versatility of a zoom with the speed normally reserved for a prime, the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM is a wide-angle to portrait length lens distinguished by its impressive single f/2 maximum aperture. This brilliant design produces excellent low-light performance along with enhanced control over depth of field to isolate the subject.
Ultra-Low Dispersion glass is employed in the optical design and greatly reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations for high clarity and color accuracy. Complementing the advanced optical properties is the proven ring-type ultrasonic motor from Canon, which offers fast and quiet autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus control. Also unique to RF lenses, this 28-70mm incorporates a configurable control ring for intuitively adjusting exposure settings, including ISO, aperture and exposure compensation, from the lens itself.
