The Canon 50mm f1.8 STM lens is excellent for portraits and low-light photography. It allows you to give an artistic touch to objects and common places, thanks to its large maximum aperture of f / 1.8 and its focal length of 50 mm.

With this new lens, it's easy to capture great portraits, as well as high-impact artistic photos and videos, as the large maximum aperture of f/1.8 allows precise control of depth of field.

It replaces the EF 50mm f/1.8 II and its improved design also features a Canon Super Spectra lens coating, a 7-blade aperture and STM technology, which ensures smooth and virtually inaudible focusing.
