1" 20.9 MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC X processing

By combining a 1" 20.9MP CMOS sensor and a DIGIC X image processor, the PowerShot V10 delivers high-quality still and video images in the palm of your hand. Shoot up to an hour in a variety of lighting conditions, the camera offers flexibility at ISO 125-3200 in 4K UHD, ISO 125-3200 in Full HD, and ISO 125-12800 for still photos. The camera's rolling shutter records videos between 1/4000-1/25 second and stills between 1/2000-1/8 second DIGIC X image processing allows for extensive creative options, with 14 color filters and a smooth Skin shooting mode.

Versatile video capture

With video recording features like uncropped 4K UHD movie recording at up to 29.97fps, Full HD movie recording with high frame rate at up to 59.94fps, and live streaming in Full-HD at 30fps, making the creation of vlogging and video content simple and convenient. To shoot vertically, simply place the camera on its side and it will adjust accordingly. UVC capability allows the PowerShot V10 to be used as a webcam to stream live video in Full HD without additional computer software. Supported services include YouTubeLive and FacebookLive along with other online web conferencing software.

19mm lens with autofocus

The camera's 19mm wide-angle lens has a 97.5° angle of view during video recording and a 100.2° angle of view for stills, wide enough to capture an entire scene or take a video head-on without stretching your arm. Autofocus is achieved with full-frame contrast detection, with the options of face tracking and area-specific autofocus in 31 individual zones when taking pictures. The lens opens to wide-angle f/2.8 to further expand the camera's capabilities in low-light conditions.

180°, tilt-up LCD touch screen

A large 2" 460,000-dot touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for controlling focus points, navigating menus, and reviewing images. This display also features a 180° tilt-up design for front and rear viewing.

Flexible Connectivity

Wired and wireless connectivity options allow for multiple methods of photo and video transfer, live streaming, and remote camera control. Physically, the camera features a USB-C port, a micro-HDMI port, and a microphone port for video recording.

Built-in Bluetooth pairing allows you to easily connect the camera to compatible smart devices using the free Canon Camera Connect app. This low-power wireless connection helps conserve battery life while allowing remote control of the camera.

Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows for fast and seamless wireless features such as remote live viewing, file viewing, and transferring. With the Canon Camera Connect app, you can also transfer files to your mobile device for browsing and sharing on social media.

The built-in USB-C allows you to connect the camera to a smartphone or computer. All the features of the Canon Camera Connect app that can be used with Wi-Fi are now available when the camera and smartphone are connected via USB, using a compatible cable for your device.
