An impressively lightweight wide-angle zoom , Canon 's RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens provides high-quality images and maximum mobility. Designed for APS-C format RF-mount mirrorless cameras, this lens offers a full-frame equivalent focal length range of 16-29mm. Optical image stabilization built into the lens offers four correction stops or six stops with coordinated IS when paired with a compatible camera. Two ultra-low dispersion elements and one aspherical element help create sharper images and reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations. The RF-S 10-18mm benefits from Canon's Super Spectra coating, which minimizes ghosting and flare while increasing contrast. In addition, this lens attaches to EOS R series APS-C and full-frame cameras without the need for an adapter thanks to its RF mount.
Smooth and quiet autofocus
A screw-type STM stepper AF motor drives the RF-S 10-18mm, producing near-silent autofocus for photo and video applications. Permanent manual focus override is available, allowing for more options when focusing, which is particularly useful for close-up work. Any out-of-focus areas of your frame become more visually pleasing thanks to the lens's seven-blade diaphragm.
