It is not necessary to remove the windscreens from the transmitters when storing them in the case. The whole set can be used comfortably and is easy to store.
High-quality audio.Detailed sound
DJI Mic Mini offers omnidirectional audio recording. The receiver can be paired with two transmitters simultaneously. Even when recording multiple sound sources, the microphone excels at reproducing detailed sound, to ensure you always get high-quality audio.
Two-level noise cancellation

Basic | Intense |
DJI mic Mini offers two levels of noise cancellation to suit different environments. [ 3] The Basic level is perfect for quiet indoor environments, reducing noise from fans, air conditioning systems and reverberation while maintaining vocal clarity.
| The Intense level excels in noisy environments, significantly reducing ambient noise for clearer vocals.
|
When the transmitters are used with windshields, DJI Mic Mini can significantly reduce wind noise and other types of noise. It excels in windy environments and noisy situations, such as live streaming and recording vlogs.
Automatic limiting to prevent audio clipping
By activating the automatic limit, DJI Mic Mini automatically lowers the volume if the audio input is too loud, preventing clipping and ensuring high quality audio. This is especially useful for content creators.

5 levels of gain adjustment
The gain can be quickly adjusted in five levels, using the dial on the receiver, for convenient and efficient use.
Mono and stereo recording
DJI Mic Mini offers both mono and stereo (dual channel) recording. Audio captured by the two transmitters can be output separately or combined into a single track, offering greater flexibility for post-production.
Safety track: an extra guarantee
By activating a safety track in the DJI Mimo application, DJI Mic Mini can record on two tracks. The primary track records at normal volume, while the secondary track records 6 dB lower, to protect your audio from problems such as clipping or distortion. This ensures that you capture stable audio, even when the volume fluctuates during live performances.
Increased battery life and stable transmission
48 hours of battery life with the case: no need to charge it every few hours
One transmitter and one receiver provide a maximum operating time of 11.5 and 10.5 hours, respectively. A fully charged case provides approximately 3.6 charges, for a total of 48 hours of use, making DJI Mic Mini ideal for long trips, interviews or other heavy use situations.
5-minute fast charge
With only five minutes of charging, you can use both the receiver and transmitter for one hour, which greatly increases charging efficiency. The receiver and transmitter, which support 1.2C fast charging, can be fully charged in approximately 90 and 100 minutes respectively, so you can get back to using them quickly

Automatic transmitter power saving
The transmitter automatically enters sleep mode when it does not detect a signal from the receiver. It will wake up and reconnect to the receiver when it detects the signal again. This feature allows you to wear the transmitter for a long time without having to turn it on and off frequently.
Automatic shutdown
In the DJI Mimo application, you can set the transmitter and receiver to automatically turn off after a period of inactivity. When this feature is enabled on both devices, they will automatically turn off if they are not connected for more than 15 minutes to avoid draining the battery and conserve more power for your creativity.
Transmission at 400 meters: stable and anti-interference
Audio can be transmitted up to 400 meters and, with DJI Mic Mini's powerful anti-interference capability, your recordings remain stable and high quality, even in noisy outdoor environments such as busy streets or crowded events.
Compatible with the Osmo ecosystem and multiple devices
DJI OsmoAudio
Direct connection for premium sound quality
The transmitter supports direct Bluetooth connection to Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 without a receiver. The DJI OsmoAudio connection ecosystem provides premium quality audio, simplifying your equipment and workflow for a more efficient creative process.
Multi-device compatibility for versatile use
The receiver is compatible with cameras, smartphones, computers and tablets. When connected to a camera via the camera audio cable (3.5 mm TRS), it can be turned on/off in sync with the camera. When connected to a smartphone, it allows external playback without having to unplug it, and can be charged via the smartphone. When the receiver is connected to a smartphone and then to a power source via the USB-C port, both devices can be charged simultaneously while in use.
Simple wireless recording
DJI Mic Mini is compatible with the DJI Neo drone. Once the drone is connected to the DJI Fly app, you can connect it to DJI Mic Mini via Bluetooth on your smartphone to record audio. The DJI Fly app automatically removes propeller noise and combines the audio track with the video, ensuring clear sound, even when recording vlogs from low altitude. Produce high-quality content on the fly, with excellent audio and images.
In addition, the transmitter can connect directly via Bluetooth to smartphones without the need for a receiver. DJI Mic Mini offers a more convenient audio recording solution for streamers and content creators who use third-party applications for filming.
DJI Mimo application: improving operational efficiency
When the transmitter is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, you can update the transmitter firmware directly via the Mimo app. By connecting your smartphone to the receiver with a USB-C adapter, you can update the entire system with a single tap in the app. Noise cancellation, auto limit and recording start/stop settings can also be configured in the app.

1. Measured using DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging case) combined with a fully charged charging case, with noise cancellation turned off, recording audio at close range without interference, with the two transmitters connected to the receiver and the receiver connected to a camera via the camera audio cable (3.5 mm TRS).
2.the DJI Mic Mini transmitters can be connected directly to selected DJI products (one TX for Osmo Action 4 and up to two TX for Osmo Pocket 3 and Osmo Action 5 Pro). Transmitter run time is approximately 7 to 8 hours when connected directly. More products from DJI will be supported in the future.
3.the Intense and Basic noise cancellation levels can be set via the DJI Mimo app or directly on the product interface when using an Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 connected to one or more transmitters via direct connection by DJI OsmoAudio™. When the transmitter is connected directly to a smartphone, the noise cancellation level cannot be adjusted in the Mimo app; the default Intense level is used.
4.when the transmitter is used with the receiver, the automatic limit is activated by default and can be turned on or off via the DJI Mimo app. When the transmitter is connected directly to a smartphone via Bluetooth, this function is activated by default and cannot be turned off. The function can also be turned on or off directly on the product interface when using an Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 connected to one or more transmitters via direct connection by DJI OsmoAudio™.

6.measured using DJI Mic Mini (1 TX + 1 RX) with noise cancellation off, recording audio at close range without interference, with the transmitter connected to the receiver and the receiver connected to a camera via the camera audio cable (3.5 mm TRS).
7.measured in a controlled environment, with transmitter and receiver battery levels below 25%, using a charger with 5 V output, with noise cancellation turned off, recording audio at close range without interference, with both transmitters connected to the receiver and the receiver connected to a camera via the camera audio cable (3.5 mm TRS).
8.measured in a controlled test environment.
9.this function is only effective when the device is turned off. If the auto power off function is enabled in the DJI Mimo application for both the transmitter and receiver, both devices will automatically power off if no pairing signal is detected for 15 minutes.
10.measured in an open, unobstructed, interference-free environment and is provided for reference only.
11.see a list of compatible devices on the Downloads page on the official website of DJI Mic Mini.
12.if your phone has a Lightning port, the receiver cannot receive power from the phone battery without an external power supply. In order to use it and charge it at the same time, you need to purchase the phone connector (Lightning) DJI Mic Mini, which is sold separately.
13.when connected directly via Bluetooth to a smartphone, it only allows filming via third-party apps. See a list of compatible apps on the product page of the official website.
14.when using an iOS mobile device, you can only update the firmware of DJI Mic Mini via Bluetooth, not via USB-C or Lightning connection.
