Two two-way USB-C ports

The two ports can simultaneously recharge Power 500 at 200W (max.) or supply power at 100W (max.).

There are four ways to recharge DJI Power 500: from the mains, via USB-C, using solar energy and from a car. Whether indoors or on the go, you can flexibly choose the charging method that suits you best.

Mains

Easy and fast: plug it in, recharge it and use it. When connected to the mains, DJI Power 500 supports both fast charging mode at 540W and standard charging mode at 270W. The fastest recharge takes 70 minutes to reach 100% battery. It can also be charged to 80% in just 50 minutes.

USB-C charging

DJI Power 500 can be recharged via two 100W  USB-C ports to reach a total input power of 200W and can be fully charged in approximately three hours. 

Solar energy

DJI Power 500 can be connected to solar panels using the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or the DJI Power power cable from car outlet to SDC  and recharged with environmentally friendly solar energy. MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is an intelligent algorithm that allows real-time monitoring of the voltage generated by connected solar panels. By monitoring and maintaining the highest voltage and current (V-I) levels, the algorithm allows solar panels to recharge DJI Power 500 in an optimized and efficient way.

Car Power

Easily charge any road trip. With the power cable (12V/24V) DJI Power from car socket to SDC, you can fully recharge DJI Power 500 with the car charger in just six hours. 

Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS)

When the safe threshold for electricity use is exceeded, the protection mechanism for power supply and charging will be automatically activated. And when the electricity supply returns to normal, DJI Power 500 will resume operation.

Authorized certification from SGS Switzerland

Thanks to its comprehensive safety design, DJI Power 500 has obtained the high-quality portable power station certification from SGS Switzerland and has received 26 product test certifications, including 2 product test verifications, 4 mechanical performance tests, 9 electrical performance tests, 3 environmental resistance tests, 5 noise level tests and 3 smart and efficient DC power supply and recharge tests.

LFP Cell

The LFP cell is safe and durable, and can reach up to 4000 cycles [4] to offer a lifespan of approximately 10 years, even with frequent use.

11 temperature sensors in the device continuously monitor heat dissipation, and the power station can operate normally, even in temperatures up to 40°C (104°F).

Power Interruption Protection

UPS Mode: Continuous, uninterrupted power

If an electrical device is connected to a Power 500 DJI (via an AC output port) turned on, and both are powered from the mains, DJI Power 500 will default to UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) mode. In the event of a sudden power interruption, DJI Power 500 can start powering connected devices in less than 0.02 seconds[11] to ensure continuous operation.
