Stream high-definition videos over 3 miles (line of sight) from your DJI drone or stabilizer equipment with this wireless video transmitter from DJI . The transmitter pairs with a separately available monitor/receiver and transmits videos up to 1080p60 using high-efficiency O3 Pro transmission technology over 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequencies. Optional high-gain antennas can be purchased to increase signal quality and distance.

The transmitter supports automatic frequency hopping to find the strongest signal and works with AES 256 encryption to protect your video from prying eyes. It allows you to simultaneously stream to two receivers in control mode, and in streaming mode, you can stream to an unlimited number of receivers with slightly lower performance. The transmitter can be powered via an optional L-series battery, a WB37 battery or its DC power input, or it can be powered directly from a DJI stabilizer such as the Ronin 2 or RS 3.

Long-distance high-definition live streaming

DJI Transmission incorporates O3 Pro video transmission technology, which offers an incredible ground transmission distance of 20,000 feet. It also supports 1080p60 streaming with a maximum bitrate of 50 Mb/s, as well as live audio monitoring at 16-bit 48 kHz, giving teams on large sets a great remote audio and visual monitoring experience.

End-to-end ultra-low latency

The video transmitter and receiver use the same chip solution as the Ronin 4D, with each link explicitly optimized to deliver ultra-low end-to-end transmission latency when paired with cinema cameras such as the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF.

Seamless automatic frequency hopping

O3 Pro adds a DFS band to the traditional 2.4 and 5.8 GHz, offering up to 23 channel options that give professional teams more compatible and interference-free transmission channels.

DJI Transmission supports tri-band automatic frequency hopping, which automatically scans the electromagnetic environment for the best wireless channel.

With a built-in frequency sweep, users can even manually select a channel to avoid interference between devices.

By mounting high-gain antennas, the transmission capacity is further increased.

A transmitter with multiple receivers for coordinated shooting

Two transmission modes are available.

In control mode, DJI Transmission delivers optimal transmission performance. Monitoring can be done from two receivers at the same time, while the Ronin 2 and RS 3 Pro's stabilizer and camera can be controlled remotely.

Broadcast mode can be enabled in addition to control mode to enable an unlimited number of receivers (transmission performance differs from control mode).

On larger, more dynamic models, DJI Transmission can work with 20 or more transmitters sending signals to 20 or more devices, resulting in a smooth, coordinated experience that is difficult to obtain with traditional broadcast setups.

Encrypted transmission

DJI Transmission supports linking and AES 256-bit encryption to prevent leakage of sensitive information. Together with the chip and transmission protocol developed by DJI, DJI Transmission can ensure the safety of your footage.

It incorporates O3 Pro video transmission technology, which offers an incredible transmission distance of 6 km in 1080p/60 fps.

Unlimited number of receivers 

Broadcast mode supports an unlimited number of receivers, which is very convenient for real-time monitoring by multiple devices and increases efficiency.

Tri-band frequency hopping

It supports tri-band automatic frequency hopping, between 2.4GHz, 5.8GHz and DFS.

End-to-end ultra-low latency

It uses the same chip solution as the Ronin 4D, with all parts optimized to provide ultra-low end-to-end latency.

Built-in wireless receiver

The high-brightness remote monitor DJI integrates monitor and receiver, with add-on functions and assistive tools, for precise control.

Stabilizer/Focus/Camera Remote Control

When used with the Ronin 4D grips or DJI Master Wheels, the Ronin 2, RS 3 Pro, focus and camera functions can be controlled remotely. 

Independent recording and playback

H.264 videos in 1080p/60fps can be recorded and stored on a microSD card independently, making it easy to edit evidence directly on set.
