Dedicated to the EOS 7D Mark II DSLR, the Grip BG-E16 CANON battery offers both enhanced handling capabilities as well as battery life. It accepts two LP-E6N lithium-ion batteries packs to increase the battery life of the camera or, failing that, the AA batteries can be used in conjunction with the included BGM-E16 Magazine battery. In addition, the grip is also compatible with the optional AC Adapter Kit ACK-E16 for continuous power. The grip design enhances shooting in portrait orientation and also provides an overall more ergonomic structure for the celebration of the 7D Mark II. A second shutter release button, main dial, multi-controller, AF point selection button, AE/FE lock button, AF home button, and multifunction button are all integrated into the grip for improved and versatile handling.
