Simple and compact, the Canon Speedlite EL-100 is a stylish strobe designed to give you more control, flexibility and power than your camera's built-in flash. Offering a guide number of 85.3' at ISO 100 and 50mm, this flash also has a tilt range of 90°, 330° rotation and a similar extension to that of 24mm to suit work in a variety of indoor and outdoor situations. The mode dial on the back allows for easy group selection or can also be set to AUTO to allow your camera to determine when the flash is needed. In addition, for off-camera use, an optical receiver allows shooting from a distance of up to 36'. For creative applications, a strobe mode can be used for one-off effects during prolonged exposures or the timing of the second curtain helps emphasize moving subjects.
