With the Dji Focus Pro, a much-needed accessory for anyone who is dedicated to video, we will be able to focus on objects and people at 20 meters. The Dji Focus Pro has a whopping 76800 measuring points for accurate focusing. The Dji Focus Pro has a camera integrated with AI recognition algorithms, as well as an AMF mode, a focus with cooperative human-machine control, The Dji Focus Pro has FIZ control of the optics with a touch perception with its own magnetic damping in addition to being fully compatible with the Dji Pro ecosystem.
DJI Focus Pro, DJI's first standalone automated manual focus (AMF) lens control system, offers filmmakers a robust and complete focusing solution to enter a new era of focus control through cooperation between people and machines.
LiDAR Approach: Now Accessible to Everyone
For the first time, DJI introduces a focus system as a standalone product that allows a broad user base to experience the freedom offered by the possibilities of creative focus.
New Handle with Full Capacity
The new DJI Focus Pro Grip offers 2.5-hour power delivery, intuitive on-screen operations, automatic calibration and data storage for 15 lenses, Bluetooth recording start/stop, and manual recording capability, to provide an exceptional LiDAR focusing experience, even without a Ronin stabilizer.
Touchscreen parameter settings and LiDAR view synchronization
Equipped with a full-color touchscreen, the handle allows LiDAR and engine parameters to be adjusted, and can display a real-time view of the LiDAR perspective, so operators can see it when using the handle.
Automatic calibration: convenient and efficient
The DJI Ronin app has built-in lens data that can be imported into the Focus Pro motor via Bluetooth connection to the grip. A single engine can store data from up to 15 targets.
Bluetooth connectivity: wireless control
The grip can connect directly via Bluetooth to mirrorless cameras to start/stop recording wirelessly. It can also be paired via Bluetooth with the DJI Ronin app to perform manual objective calibration
2.5 hours of runtime: use it while charging
The grip offers 2.5 hours of power supply for the LiDAR and focus motor. It can also be used uninterrupted while charging via third-party PD fast-charging batteries.
Advanced autofocus: a leap forward
Farther and broader focus
The distance of the LiDAR focus to people has been increased to 20 meters, about three times that of the previous generation, to be able to easily record with telephoto lenses.A super-wide 70° field of view offers space to frame edges and capture close-ups easily, dramatically increasing creative freedom.
More accurate and stable focusing
The revamped LiDAR now offers 76,800 measurement points, a 77% increase over the previous generation, to improve the detection of people at the edges and effectively reduce focus hunting. In addition, with a LiDAR refresh rate of 30 Hz, focus is fixed stably, even when the target is moving quickly.
Smarter approach
Flexible combinations for various situations
MFA: human-machine collaboration
Millisecond switching between manual and automatic
Focus control is always at your fingertips. In MFA mode, manual focus control can be turned on and off in milliseconds. Not only does this more accurately capture the operator's intent, ensuring a coherent visual narrative, it also significantly improves efficiency on set by reducing interruptions caused by focus mode changes.
