(1) A beautiful and sophisticated design housed in the lightest and smallest camera body of the X Series

・ At 364 g (.80 lb) and measuring 121.3 mm x 72.9 mm x 32.7 mm (4.77 in. X 2.87 in. X 1.28 in.), the X-E4 is the most compact interchangeable-lens camera in the fourth-generation X-series. To maintain its slim and sleek design, a tilt-back LCD screen has also been carefully designed to ensure that the body remains as slim and portable as possible.

Its optical design includes an aspherical element and an extra-low dispersion element, which help reduce a variety of aberrations to produce a high degree of sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy. A Super EBC coating has also been applied to individual elements to control flare and ghosting to increase contrast when working in bright lighting conditions. Complementing the optical design is an effective 3.5-stop image stabilization system, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake to benefit handheld shooting. In addition, a stepper AF motor provides fast and quiet focusing performance and a rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
