The X-S20 is a mirrorless digital camera that is equipped with the 26.1 MP "X-Trans™ CMOS 4"  back-illuminated sensor and the "X-Processor 5" high-speed image processing engine to produce high-quality images.

It features the X-S series' signature large grip for stability when held in your hand. The use of the new high-capacity battery has more than doubled the number of frames approx. 800 compared to the previous model. The compact and lightweight body, weighing only 491g, makes it comfortable to use even in long-duration shots. The camera also features the five-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) mechanism that offers an advantage of up to 7.0 stops. The AI-based Subject Detection AF, capable of detecting animals and cars, adds to its AF performance, equivalent to the fifth-generation X-series camera, FUJIFILM X-T5, for greater mobility. The X-S20 supports 10-bit 6.2K/30P 4:2:2 video recording internally and features a 3.5mm microphone/headphone jack for connecting external accessories for full, full-fledged video recording.
