The linear motor-driven system delivers high-speed autofocus performance of 0.1 seconds to capture the perfect photographic opportunities. This lens is also suitable for video recording because of its quiet operation.

Advanced optical and mechanical designs have been used to maintain the small size of the lens despite offering a maximum aperture of F2.8 – 4.0. It is a bright and highly portable lens, which offers excellent image quality in different types of scenes and is suitable for low-light photography or scenes with an attractive background bokeh effect.

It incorporates a four-stop equivalent OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer), which controls the effects of camera shake and prevents blurry images. The lens is equipped with an aperture ring that allows users to easily adjust the aperture while holding the camera at eye level.
