FUJI's new APSC is impressing critics and users alike, debuting new components that greatly improve the performance of the XH2S. The FUJI XH2S+ 35mm camera combines a 26.16-megapixel X-Trans sensor with high-speed autofocus and a new X-Processor 5 processor with performance twice as fast as the previous version. We include a lens that on this body would be equivalent to a 52.5mm approximately, this has a magnificent angle that stands out in portraits or urban photography.

Features of the FUJI XH2S camera
1. X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HS: This 26.16 MP image sensor inherits the backlight style of the previous model, but also adopts the stacked layer structure to become the first stacked APS-C sensor capable of quadrupling the signal reading speed compared to the current model It has drastically improved performance, including the blackout-free burst mode of up to 40 fps*6 and a significantly better AF rate during continuous shooting. In terms of video performance, the sensor can record 4K/60P video without cropping with a substantially reduced rolling shutter effect.
2. X-Processor 5: The new processor has twice the processing speed of the current model. It has improved image resolution at low ISO sensitivity and reduced noise at high ISO sensitivity in photographs, while delivering significantly improved accuracy and AF speed. The use of the AI processor allows for AF subject detection, tracking a target subject more accurately. In video, the processor allows for 10-bit 4:2:2 video shooting at 6.2K/30P and 4K/120P, and supports a variety of codecs, including Apple ProRes 422 HQ*7. It also has lower power consumption, extending the maximum video recording time and supports a CFexpressTM Type B memory card.
The X-H2S takes full advantage of the capability of fifth-generation devices to achieve a substantial performance improvement.
(1) Major Burst Mode Capability Increase: The camera can apply AF/AE tracking on uninterrupted continuous shots at up to 40 frames per second, and can shoot more than 1000 frames continuously when you set the high-speed burst shooting mode to 30 frames per second (JPEG) or 20 frames per second (RAW). *8
(2) Drastically Evolved AF Performance: The higher number of AF calculations performed per second has improved AF accuracy, provides a subject recognition AF function, and improves the prediction algorithm to dramatically improve zone AF and the ability to follow a moving subject in low-light conditions. contrasting environment.
(3) Improved Video Performance: The camera supports 4:2:2 10-bit video recording at 6.2K/30P and 4K/120P internally. The sensor's readout speed during video recording has been improved to 1/180 second, eliminating the rolling shutter effect. Supports three Apple ProRes codecs; ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422 and ProRes 422 LT. When recording ProRes, X-H2S also supports proxy recording as ProRes 422 Proxy. Another new feature is the F-Log2 capability with dynamic range expanded to over 14 stops, allowing for much smoother tonal expression.
Features of the 35mm f1.4 XF lens
The X-mount has an edge clearance of just 17.7mm, as it has been specifically designed to take full advantage of the body's mirrorless design. This means that the rear elements of the lens are as close to the sensor as possible. The wide aperture allows the lens to be mounted deeper into the body (approximately up to 7.5mm from the mount surface), reducing the rear focus distance of each lens to the minimum possible and allowing for high resolution right up to the edges of the image.
With a fast F1.4 aperture, the 35mm XF lens (equivalent to 53mm at 135m) provides excellent image resolution across the entire image, including the edges.
The 35mm XF F1.4 lens offers precise depth of field control and excellent bokeh in blurred background thanks to the design of the moulded aperture blades. The blades are curved to create a circular image at all aperture settings, while the edges of each blade are meticulously rounded rather than simply cut, allowing for a sharper image.
In addition, the solid feel provided by the high-quality metal drum and the precise exposure adjustment in 1/3 stop increments using the aperture ring fuel the desire to capture more photos with each shot.
