As the fastest lens in Hasselblad, the XCD 1.9/80 features the largest aperture of any Hasselblad lens at f/1.9. With its unique twin AF engines and excellent optical design, this lens provides an equivalent aperture of f/1.5 and a field of view similar to 63mm in full-frame 35mm systems. With a front diameter of 77 mm, it accepts common filters and threaded accessories. The XCD 1.9/80 features a minimum focusing distance of 70cm (28in) (1:6.4 image scale) and an aperture range of 1.9-32. It is especially suitable for portraiture, nature and product photography with its ability to produce pleasing bokeh through subject isolation with a shallow depth of field.

Like the other XCD lenses, the XCD 1.9/80 features an integral center shutter, offering exposure times of 60 minutes at 1/2000 with full flash sync.
