Offering the same inspiring performance as the original X2D 100C, this unique, limited edition Earth Explorer of the mirrorless medium format camera has been designed to stand out and includes a number of accessories to help you get started with shooting.

The camera body has a distinctive tundra brown color; Inspired by the Nordic nature of Hasselblad's homeland, this unique color is a combination of the grayish green of the vegetation and the dark brown of the ground. The color was developed using Hasselblad's natural color solution, which is also used by the camera itself, and is intended to evoke the rugged landscape, moss-covered tundra, and other natural details of the high-latitude ecosystem.

Part of a limited edition of 1000 kits, this camera has its unique edition serial number, from 0001 to 1000, engraved on the side of the body.

Each time the camera is turned on, a unique Earth Explorer home screen is displayed.

A final touch of exclusivity: the Earth Explorer edition camera comes with a unique strap that matches the distinctive color of the camera body. This strap is made from eco-friendly recycled plastics woven with a high-tech, skin-friendly fabric for comfort and includes a hand-embroidered "Hasselblad" lettering on the outside and "Earth Explorer" wording on the inside.

Following the resounding success of the X1D-50c and its upgrade with the X1D II 50C, the powerful new X2D 100C Hasselblad introduced, along with three new XCD series lenses, the XCD 2.5/38V, XCD 2.5/55V and XCD 2.5/90V that offer an unrivalled experience for content creators.

Hasselblad's new generation of medium-format mirrorless camera, the X2D 100C, was designed to bring substantial technological innovations to image quality, camera handling and operating system response speed. Designed in a lead-colored machined aluminum body, the X2D 100C features a built-in 100-megapixel back-illuminated (BSI) (43.8 × 32.9mm) CMOS sensor and features a dynamic range of 15 stops with about 16-bit color depth. The X2D 100C enables a creative experience that wasn't available before. It empowers content creators to capture the ins and outs of highlights and shadows, leveraging color management Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS).

Handheld photography is possible in a wide variety of conditions thanks to the new 5-axis 7-stop camera body-built stabilization system. Hasselblad has developed its own image stabilizer exclusively for the X2D 100C to meet the specific needs of stabilizing a 100MP sensor. When designing the camera, keeping both weight and size to a minimum was kept in mind for easy portability, which is why the X2D 100C contains the most compact IBIS medium format solution on the market.

The X2D 100C features a 0.5" electronic viewfinder (EVF) with 5.76 mio. pixel display that is capable of 1.00x magnification with a 60fps refresh rate to ensure that the screen looks bright and sharp from corner to corner.

In addition, it has a 1.08" color top screen and a 3.6" 2.36MP touchscreen and tilting rear screen that allows access to all parameters, while maintaining the Hasselblad user interface (HUI) and the Scandinavian, elegant and simple style, original to the X system. The battery has a CIPA rating of up to 420 shots and supports PD 3.0 fast charging. To all this it is important to mention that the X2D 100C is compatible with Phocus, Hasselblad's free image processing software.

More than just a single camera body, the Earth Explorer edition is a complete kit, including a lens, an extra battery, a charging hub and a UV filter.

This kit is an ideal multipurpose prime lens, perfect for subjects ranging from landscapes to portraits, and includes the XCD 55mm f/2.5V lens. This 43mm equivalent lens offers a slightly wide field of view, a bright f/2.5 maximum aperture, a center lens shutter with a 1/2000 sec sync speed, and a sleek physical design for all-day wear.

Protect the front lens element with the included 72mm UV filter.

A system designed for long recording sessions, this kit includes two batteries along with a dual battery charging hub and a 30W USB-C charger for easy charging.

Sensor CMOS BSI de 100 MP

Designed with a large 100MP BSI CMOS sensor, the X2D 100C features an extremely wide dynamic range of up to 15 stops along with an intense 16-bit color depth. The camera's 16-bit color depth can deliver up to 281 trillion colors, 64 times more than 14-bit. When combined with the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution system, tonal transitions and skin tones show immense depth, detail, and clarity for lifelike image quality. This color management system also creates images with exquisite color and detail for exceptionally smooth tonal transitions reminiscent of analog movie capture.

Fast and accurate phase-detection autofocus

Designed with a newly developed phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) system, the X2D 100C uses 294 PDAF zones to provide fast, accurate focusing at the touch of a button. In addition, an updated electronic platform allows for a continuous shooting speed of 3.3 fps to capture fleeting moments in fast-paced environments.

5-axis, 7-stop in-body image stabilization

With a built-in 5-axis 7-stop Image Stabilizer (IBIS), the X2D 100C compensates for five different types of camera shake that occur when shooting handheld. This precise and efficient system significantly reduces motion blur at slower shutter speeds and allows you to confidently capture 100MP images handheld in real-life situations.

Built-in SSD storage

Equipped with a built-in 1TB SSD with a write speed of up to 2370MB/s, the X2D 100C can store approximately 4600 photos in RAW format or 13,800 photos in JPEG format. Although it has ample built-in storage capacity, additional space can be used through the camera's CFexpress Type B card slot. Thanks to its high-speed storage performance, the X2D 100C can capture images in 16-bit RAW format continuously in continuous shooting mode, providing a stable and reliable continuous shooting experience.

Machined from individual blocks of aluminum alloy, the X2D 100C's top and bottom housings are precision manufactured and manually assembled by experienced technicians.

It turns on in 2 seconds and provides a shorter shutter delay and shutdown time for a smooth operating experience.

The uncluttered and intuitive Hasselblad user interface (HUI) provides fast and efficient touch control for swiping, scrolling, pinching/extending to make zoom and more.

An ISO sensitivity range of 64-25600 is available and fixed files are saved in Hasselblad 3FR RAW file format or as JPEGs.

Optimized for use with the XCD series of lenses, which offer an integrated center shutter system, capable of reaching sync speeds of up to 1/4000 second.

Hasselblad 55mm f2.5 lens

With a sleek design that matches the X1D and X2D camera systems, the Hasselblad XCD 55mm f/2.5V lens is a standard-length 43mm equivalent designed to cover the camera's large 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor area. This lens offers a natural field of view and is well suited for still life, portraits and everyday photographic applications. It also features a minimum focusing distance of 17.7" along with an optical design aimed at maintaining image quality and sharpness throughout the focus range for accurate representation of foreground subjects. Like other XCD lenses, the XCD 55mm f/2.5V has a Lens Shutter that is capable of shutter speeds of up to 1/2000 second with flash sync at all speeds, and its internal autofocus design can be manually overridden for precise manual focus control.
