This high-capacity lithium-ion battery can power any Sony HD camcorder such as PMW-EX1, PMW-EX1R, PMW-EX3, PMW-100, PMW-150, PMW-200, PMW-300, PMW-F3, PXW-X160, PXW-X180, PXW-X200, PXW-FS7, including the latest PXW-Z190 and PXW-Z280 models, as well as any other units that accept BPU-style battery. The HED-BP95D includes a USB 5V/5W/1A external power output, and a Dual D-Tap DC 14.4V power output, which can deliver 115W/8A for all professional external devices.

The D-tap dual DC outlet plug is equipped on the top of the HED-BP95D battery pack. With this external power supply you can connect two different products, such as an LED camera light and a video monitor or a wireless transmitter and digital recorder, and get simultaneous power with the battery connected to the camera, or separately as a standalone power station. The opposite orientation of the D-Tap connectors provides more flexibility during daily operation. The maximum power of the two D-taps is 95W.

The HED-BP95D contains a 4-LED power meter that, at the touch of a button, displays the percentage of battery remaining at 100%, 75%, 50% or 25%.

Built-in 5V USB plug, 1A

The USB 5V/1A output can be used to power any external USB electronic device. This feature allows you to use the HED-BP95D as a powerhouse to charge your cell phone, tablet, or any other electronic device that can be powered by 5V USB power.

Data communication with the camcorder

Using the built-in data communication chip, the battery is synchronized with the camcorder to display the exact percentage of power on the LCD screen. HED-BP95D is fully compatible with the latest Sony PXW-Z190 and PXW-Z280 camcorder models.
