Inspire 2 DJI Kit

The Inspire 2 DJI Kit takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves on it. An all-new image processing system records up to 5.2K in CinemaDNG RAW, Apple ProRes, and more. It goes from 0 to 50 mph (80kph) in just 5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 58 mph (94kph) and has a maximum descent speed of 9m/s for speed and agility unheard of in an aircraft of this size.

Inspire 2 DJI Kit

The Inspire 1 was a revelation. The first cinema drone in the world to integrate an HD video transmission system, 360° rotating gimbal and 4K camera, as well as the simplicity of app control. The launches of the Zenmuse X5 and X5R cameras further cemented Inspire as a critical tool for filmmakers around the world.
The Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves it. An all-new image processing system records up to 5.2K in CinemaDNG RAW, Apple ProRes and more. It goes from 0 to 50 mph (80kph) in just 5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 58 mph (94kph) and has a maximum descent speed of 9m/s for unprecedented speed and agility in an airplane  A dual battery system extends flight time to a maximum of 27 minutes (with an X4S), while self-heating technology allows you to fly even in low temperatures. FlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for Inspire 2, providing two-way obstacle avoidance and sensor redundancy. Increased intelligence adds multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, giving individual pilots the ability to create complex and dramatic shots.
Professional image quality
Integrated into the Inspire 2 is the new CineCore 2.0 image processing system, capable of recording 5.2K video in CinemaDNG*1, Apple ProRes*2 and more. CineCore 2.0 is integrated into the nose of the aircraft and works with any camera connected via the dedicated gimbal port. (Currently supports X4S*3 and X5S.)
Efficient workflow
The Inspire 2's creative workflow has been fully optimized and it is now capable of recording video in CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes, and other common formats for in-film post-production. FAT32/exFAT* file systems are also supported, allowing for fast copying of files directly from the CINESSD without additional software.

Sense and Avoid
Direct and lower vision systems allow the Inspire 2 to detect obstacles up to 30 meters ahead, allowing for protected flight of up to 34 mph (54 kph) with a controllable 25° attitude angle. Upward-facing infrared sensors scan obstacles 16 feet (5 m) above, adding protection when flying in close quarters. Obstacle detection systems are active during normal flight, RTH and all intelligent flight modes. These sensors are core components of the DJI FlightAutonomy system, which brings the following smart features to the Inspire 2:
Avoidance of obstacles upwards
Obstacle Avoidance Precise Interior Placement and Positioning
Automatic Obstacle Avoidance During RTH
Terrain Sensing
Precise indoor positioning and positioning
Spotlight Pro
Spotlight Pro is a powerful tracking mode that allows even individual pilots to capture complex and dramatic images. It uses advanced visual tracking algorithms to engage a subject during flight, regardless of the direction the Inspire 2 is flying, creating shots that would once have required a dedicated camera operator. If the gimbal is close to reaching its rotation limits, the Inspire 2 will rotate in the same direction without affecting the flight control or capture being captured to release the gimbal movement.
It has two shooting modes, Quick Mode and Compositing Mode. In Compositing Mode, select an object to begin tracking. In Compositing Mode, select the subject and the tracking position. When the subject enters the preset tracking position, press the shortcut to begin tracking. The gimbal can be moved during filming for composition adjustments. Spotlight Pro is available in all Intelligent Flight modes, including ActiveTrack, TapFly, Waypoint, and Point of Interest.

Intelligent Flight Modes
In addition to Spotlight Pro, a variety of other intelligent flight and shooting modes are available. Obstacle avoidance is optimized when using Point of Interest* and Waypoint* modes, making complex shots simple and repeatable. QuickSpin, TapFly, and ActiveTrack are also available to simplify challenging shots.
Smart Return to Home
Forward and downward vision systems allow the Inspire 2 to create a real-time map of your flight path as you fly. If the video streaming system's signal is lost and Smart Return Home is enabled, you can fly home along your original route and switch to a straight line when you regain a signal. As you return, you'll use the main camera to identify obstacles up to 200 meters ahead, allowing you to plan a safe route home. You can also reconnect more quickly after losing connection.
Video Streaming System
The latest upgrade to Lightbridge' DJI technology has an effective transmission distance of up to 4.3mi (7km) and is capable of delivering both 1080p/720p video and FPV view for pilot and camera operator. Users can also switch between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz control frequencies to cut noise and achieve greater signal stability.
