The PIXPRO AZ901 is a camera from the KODAK Astro collection Zoom that revolves around an impressive zoom and combines a long range with an adequate set of imaging capabilities. Its 20.68 MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor allows for Full HD 1080p video recording and continuous shooting at 5 fps, plus an ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 3200 for working in a variety of lighting conditions. The sensor's BSI design helps maintain low noise and high clarity for truer colors and accurate rendering, especially in low light. Complementing its imaging capabilities is a wide 90x optical zoom, which covers an equivalent focal length range of 22 to 1980 mm. Optical image stabilization optimizes this range by minimizing camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. It features an electronic viewfinder and a 3.0", 920,000-dot rear LCD for composing and reviewing images, and the LCD features an articulating design that is better suited to working from high and low angles. It also features built-in Wi-Fi for wireless image transfer and remote control of the camera from a connected smartphone or tablet.

A 20.68 MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor produces high-resolution still images and Full HD 1080p/30 video, plus a continuous shooting speed of 5 fps and an ISO sensitivity range of 80 to 3200 for working in a variety of lighting conditions. The BSI (back-illuminated) sensor design provides greater clarity and reduces noise for sharp image quality.

An extremely long range 90x optical zoom lens provides a focal length range equivalent to 22-1980 mm, covering wide-angle to super-telephoto perspectives, and a 4x digital zoom is also available to further extend the effective range.

Optical image stabilization is available to minimize the appearance of camera shake when shooting handheld in difficult lighting conditions or at longer focal lengths.

It features an electronic viewfinder and a 3.0", 920,000-dot rear LCD screen for composing and reviewing images. In addition, the LCD's articulating design allows you to work from high, low and even front angles for greater shooting flexibility.

Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to transfer images wirelessly and control the camera remotely from a linked iOS or Android mobile device.

Image files can be recorded in both JPEG and RAW formats; JPEG files are convenient and ideal for saving storage space on the memory card, while RAW images offer greater editing possibilities during post-production.

The 360° Panorama mode allows you to take panoramic images by simply moving the camera to create a wide-field composition.

Face, smile, blink, cat and dog detection modes can be used to optimize shooting settings and capture perfect portraits and pet photos.

Both single and multiple 9-point autofocus modes can be used, and face detection AF is also available to prioritize the faces of subjects when taking portraits.

The built-in flash provides additional illumination when working in low light conditions.
