Capturing a classic concert of light and shadow starts with the lens. XCD 4/28P adopts a nine-element optical structure in eight groups, including two aspherical elements and one ED element, ensuring excellent imaging while effectively suppressing chromatic dispersion. With a carefully designed arrangement, the lens has a compact size and powerful performance, meeting the resolution requirements of 100 million pixels. The lens produces sharp images with high precision and high resolution from the center to the edges, achieving stunning image quality across the entire frame.

A slightly wider angle allows for clearly larger scenes. The wide-angle lens with a focal length equivalent to 22mm and F4.0 aperture makes it easy to capture nature, street culture and urban architecture. With a minimum focusing distance of 22cm and 1:6 magnification, rich close-ups of flowers, cooking, and more are effortlessly captured.

The XCD 4/28P features a linear stepper motor and a smaller, lighter focus lens cluster. When used with X2D 100C's PDAF technology, the focus lens group can quickly reach the focus position and achieve a precise stop. This results in fast, accurate, and responsive focusing, so that the scene is captured before the shutter is clicked.

The lens's small but powerful blade shutter allows you to shoot with flash synchronization at all shutter speeds, with flash synchronization up to 1/4000s. Flash shoot in bright sunlight to capture the dynamic juxtaposition of subjects, highlighting the subject while darkening the background.
