Canon has launched the new C400, an addition to its CINEMA EOS camera range, plus a new Cine Servo lens, with RF or PL mount options, featuring the eXs-V digital drive unit and a new L-series hybrid prime lens for videographers and photographers.
The EOS C400 features a powerful 6K Full Frame BSI sensor, 16 stops of dynamic range, triple ISO baseline and an updated and improved design with enhanced connectivity in a compact, rugged body. Delivering the warm skin tones and pleasing natural imaging that Canon is known for, along with enhanced professional connectivity, the EOS C400 is your client's ally in film, live broadcast and virtual productions.
The CN7x17 KAS T is the first zoom Cine Servo Super 35mm RF mount Super 35mm lens from Canon with a PL mount option. It features the new eXs-V digital drive unit with a wide 7x optical zoom (17-120mm), which will appeal to live sports and news crews, as well as producers of documentaries, film, remote and virtual productions. With support for ZEISS eXtended DataTM and Cooke /i TechnologyTM on the upgraded PL-mount model, plus real-time shading and distortion correction, detailed frame-by-frame metadata for VFX workflows, and high-speed communication for virtual production workflows on the RF model, the CN7x17 KAS T delivers precise performance.
A new adapter, the PL-RF mount adapter from Canon, also joins the lens accessory lineup, with great versatility for use with a wide variety of PL lenses with the EOS C400, including the Sumire Prime lenses from Canon.
