Canon has launched the new C400, an addition to its CINEMA EOS camera range, as well as a new Cine Servo lens, with RF or PL mount options, including the eXs-V digital drive unit and a new L-series hybrid prime lens for videographers and photographers.
The EOS C400 features a powerful full-frame 6K BSI sensor, 16 stops of dynamic range, triple-base ISO and an updated and improved design with optimised connectivity in a compact and robust body. Offering warm skin tones and the pleasant natural image that Canon is known for, along with enhanced professional connectivity, the EOS C400 is your customer's ally in film, live broadcast and virtual productions.
The CN7x17 KAS T is Canon'zoom first RF-mount Super 35mm Cine Servo lens with a PL mount option. It features the new eXs-V digital drive unit with a wide optical zoom of 7x (17-120mm), which will appeal to sports and live news teams, as well as producers of documentaries, film and remote and virtual productions. With support for ZEISS eXtended DataTM and Cooke /i TechnologyTM on the updated PL-mount model, plus real-time shading and distortion correction, detailed frame-by-frame metadata for VFX workflows and high-speed communication for virtual production workflows on the RF model, the CN7x17 KAS T delivers precise performance.
A new adapter, the Canon PL-RF Mount Adapter, also joins the range of lens accessories, with great versatility for use on a wide variety of PL lenses with the EOS C400, including Canon's Sumire Prime lenses.
