Thypoch introduces a vintage full-frame fixed lens with the Simera 35mm f/1.4 ASPH Type II. Designed for Leica M-mount cameras, this fast manual focus lens brings a nostalgic touch to your images with a classic focal length. A soft aperture switch, located on the lens body next to the aperture control ring, allows users to easily switch between soft and closed aperture, making it the ideal lens for both videography and photography.

The Simera 35mm ASPH Type II version has been ergonomically designed with a comfortable focusing tab, enabling smooth one-finger focusing for seamless operation.

Low chromatic aberration

The Simera 35 mm f/1.4 features one aspherical element and three high refractive index elements to reduce color aberration and improve image quality.

Smooth bokeh and excellent low-light performance

Thanks to the ability to shoot with a bright f/1.4 aperture, high-quality images are guaranteed even in unfavorable lighting conditions. The lens' 14-blade diaphragm creates a circular bokeh that provides smooth, pleasing framing of the subject, especially useful for portraits. When capturing close subjects, a minimum focus of 45 mm is available.

Resistance reminder

When rotated to 0.7m, you will feel a damping that will alert you that the focusing distance of the lens is about to exceed the limit of the camera body.

Retro square lens hood

The Simera 35mm f/1.4 is equipped with a retro-inspired square lens hood, anodized to prevent scratches. Its threaded interior ensures sharper images by blocking unwanted light.
