This complete cage features many ways to mount various accessories, such as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with various locating pins, two cold shoe receivers, a NATO rail for top handles, and mounting points for a single rod. Holders.

This is especially useful in situations where weight is a concern, such as when using a gimbal or when using accessories such as the XLR top handle with which this cage is fully compatible.

The cage now features three individual mounting screws, which greatly increases the connection between the camera body and the cage.

This ensures that any accessories mounted through the cage, such as wireless follow focus motors, limit the front torsion of the camera within the cage.

Included in this basic kit is the ergonomic Xeno top handle, which mounts through the NATO rail and offers improved handling and operation through its new design with increased clearance.

This handle features a variety of mounting points, such as 1/4″-20 threads and a cold shoe receiver, perfect for mounting an external monitor.

Rounding out the kit is our universal 15mm LWS baseplate that supports dual 15mm rods and rod-based accessories, such as follow focus systems or matte boxes.

This base plate uses a standard DJI ARCA receiver for seamless transitions to Ronin series gimbals, while the bottom plate is compatible with our standard Tilta dovetails and features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.

Add protection and accessories to your Sony FX3 or FX30 digital cinema camera with this lightweight, modular Camera Cage V2 from Tilta. This updated model offers the option of full cage protection or a lighter half cage suitable for gimbal use by removing its side L-bracket. The black aluminum cage maintains access to camera controls and features a removable NATO top plate that allows the use of the original XLR top handle or another handle.

Use the cage to mount a variety of accessories using the top plate NATO rail, hot shoe mount and 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads with anti-torque locating pins. The cage also features an integrated Arca-style base for quick mounting on tripod heads and gimbal mounts. It can be used in either landscape or portrait orientation and also features a right side grip, HDMI cable clamp and slots for an optional wrist or neck strap.

Modular design

The cage can be configured for either full protection or a lighter half-cage shape for gimbal use. The top module is individually removable and is compatible with the original XLR audio handle. The L-bracket is removable and can be used as a half-cage.

Multiple accessory mounts

Accessory mounting options include a NATO rail, hot shoe mount, and 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads with locating pins. The bottom of the camera frame features an Arca-style design for quick installation on baseplates and gimbals.

Mounting security

The camera body can be secured by three mounting screws on the left, right and bottom sides. The included cable clamp prevents pulling or disconnection and is mounted with a thumbscrew.
