From the Smooth 5 you can control the parameters of your mobile camera. It also includes handy shortcuts for the ZY Cami app or gallery, a dial to navigate menus, and a joystick to move the gimbal

Focus and zoom

Inherited from the Smooth 4, the new zoom and focus wheel allows you to switch between these two options with a simple click of its button. A practical option to equip your videos with cinematic effects such as the focus rack

Features of the Zhiyun Smooth 5

• Three-axis stabilizer capable of supporting and moving mobile phones up to 320 grams, i.e. practically any smartphone on the market (such as the iPhone 13 Pro Max or Huawei Mate X2, for example)
• Complete control panel with shortcuts to mobile camera parameters such as sensitivity (ISO) or exposure compensation, as well as menus and gallery. It also has a handy navigation dial
• Built-in focus wheel and zoom for easy cinematic effects. You can switch between the focus and zoom function by simply pressing the button in the center of this dial
• Improved motor performance and new algorithm for smoother movements

• Magnetic LED fill light (available separately or included in the Smooth 5 Combo Kit) with 300 lumens brightness and 95+ CRI for enhanced footage in low-light situations. It is possible to attach the light in both directions to record with both the front and rear cameras of the smartphone, and even place two lights to achieve greater brightness
• All-day battery: the Smooth 5 has a battery life of up to 12 hours, and is also compatible with the PD fast charging protocol, which allows it to be fully charged in just two hours. If you are more demanding, you can also charge the battery using a powerbank while you are using the gimbal
• Easy and quick switching between portrait and landscape modes
• Up to six control modes, including Vortex and POV
• Control your smartphone's native photo and video app via Bluetooth without using the Zhiyun app
