Zhiyun, a world leader in equipment for audiovisual creation, announces the launch of the Molus X100 RGB, a pocket lighting solution with professional features. This new ultra-compact spotlight provides soft, full RGB capable light , ideal for both video and photography.

Developed in collaboration with filmmaker Cam Mackey, the X100 RGB combines artistic sensitivity with advanced lighting technology to meet the needs of today's creators. This new model in the Molus range was one of the great novelties recently shown by Zhiyun at the NAB 2025 fair in Las Vegas, where it received an excellent reception from professionals, content creators and enthusiastic users

The era of 100-watt RGB in the palm of your hand is here

 The X100 RGB is the sleekest 100-watt RGB COB spotlight created by Zhiyun to date. With a thickness of less than 2 centimeters in its cooling system and just 3 centimeters in total, this model weighs only 384 grams. Its flat design incorporates an embossed textured leather coating, which reinforces its elegant style and careful construction quality .

Color without limits, creativity without compromises

 Thanks to its cinema-grade RGB mixing technology, the X100 RGB delivers vivid colors with the power of a main light. It offers a concentrated beam of light with an even distribution, allowing you to create colorful environments , portraits with character and dynamic visual effects. The colour temperature can be set between 2,500 and 10,000 degrees Kelvin, adapting to any shooting situation.

Professional ecosystem of

 With the new compact Fresnel lens, developed by Zhiyun exclusively for the X series, the brightness is increased by up to five times, reaching a maximum luminance of 12,600 lux, equivalent to professional spotlights between 300 and 500 watts. This cinema-quality light maintains stable output even during extended sessions thanks to its innovative Dynavort cooling system.

 The Molus X100 RGB supports a wide range of modifiers for total creative control. These include the four-leaf metal visors with magnetic connection, the new Spotlight Attachment (projector with adjustable focus) and the 40D parabolic window or softbox, with a larger surface area and better colour reproduction. All these accessories have been designed to meet professional needs in different types of shooting.

 The spotlight is ZY-mounted, compatible with Zhiyun's ultra-compact modifiers, but can also be used with Bowens mount accessories using the adapter included in the Pro kit and also available separately.

All-in-one portable power system

 The X100 RGB has a removable handle battery of 57.72 Wh, capable of providing up to 34 minutes of autonomy at maximum power. It also supports PD fast charging and power supply via DC power adapter , ensuring continuous and high-quality lighting in any work environment. Wireless control with app and Bluetooth connectivity The free ZY Vega app allows you to control the light remotely via Bluetooth, adjust the intensity in real time, apply effects or manage multiple spotlights simultaneously by grouping devices, making it easy to assemble complex scenes quickly and accurately
