Powerful payload

Equipped with carbon fiber axle arms, DJI RS 4 Pro offers a payload capacity of 4.5 kg (10 lb) as well as plenty of power and torque to easily accommodate the most popular mirrorless/film camera and lens combinations on the market.

2nd Generation Native Vertical Recording

Designed with a new horizontal plate, RS 4 Pro enables 2nd generation native vertical recording to achieve even higher efficiency. Without the need for additional accessories, filmmakers can simply release the horizontal plate and lock it in the vertical position to easily switch to vertical recording.

Easy balancing

The rotation axis now features dual bearings for easy adjustments.

All three axes feature a Teflon coating with a low coefficient of friction, ensuring smooth balancing, even when mounting heavy cameras.

When changing cameras or lenses, a precision adjustment wheel on the tilt axis allows you to move the camera forward or backward for millimeter-accurate balancing.

The top quick-release plate has incorporated an adjustable positioning guide to prevent camera loosening or shifting.

Automatic screen lock

The OLED touchscreen incorporates a new auto-lock function that prevents accidental touches during recording. When the screen is locked, it can still display the current stabilizer and joystick modes, reducing power consumption.

2nd generation automatic axis locking

With the latest-generation axis lock, DJI RS 4 Pro can quickly start operation or enter sleep mode, greatly improving efficiency during recording, transitions and storage. In addition, the axis locks have been improved to achieve smaller gaps, which further reduces the vibration of the stabilizer when locked.

Excellent stability, exceptional standards

DJI RS 4 Pro features a 20 % [2] increase in motor torque on all three axes to provide greater power redundancy once balanced. This ensures that the stabilizer retains its responsiveness and precision in tracking movements, even with heavy cameras or multiple accessories. In addition, it offers sufficient power to stabilize the device in various recording scenarios.

Car mount mode

The new car mount mode optimizes the stabilization algorithm based on vehicle vibration and wind resistance data, enabling stable recording even with shaking or vibration.

4th generation RS stabilization algorithm

The latest-generation RS stabilization algorithm has been fully optimized for different usage situations. It achieves a superior balance between stabilization strength and tactile perception of camera shake, delivering excellent stabilization performance and an enhanced user experience. In addition, RS 4 Pro offers significantly improved stability in vertical recording, so you can easily master dynamic shots, e.g., running or tilt shots.

Intelligent LiDAR focusing for shooting with confidence

LiDAR autofocus DJI Focus Pro

When combined with the new LiDAR Focus Pro [3] and Focus Pro engine, [4] RS 4 Pro enables independent filmmakers to experience more accurate, farther and smarter LiDAR autofocus, achieving precise control over cinematic expression in dynamic shooting situations.

Next-generation ActiveTrack Pro

Leveraging the new LiDAR Focus Pro [3] and AI algorithms, next-generation ActiveTrack Pro allows the RS 4 Pro's three-axis stabilizer to track your target tightly. Even if the lens is briefly covered, it can quickly reposition it and regain focus. ActiveTrack Pro also shows excellent recognition and tracking performance in multiple target scenarios or when the target is far away.

DJI Focus Pro Engine

DJI RS 4 Pro incorporates a new joystick mode selector, allowing cinematographers to joystick control the movement of the stabilizer or zoom of the target. When used with the Focus Pro [4] motor in zoom control mode, it can perform motorized zoom on PZ, Clear Image Zoom, [7] and zoom lenses with external focus motor, to deliver a native, accurate and comfortable focusing experience.

Highly efficient lens control

When combined with two Focus Pro motors, [4] DJI RS 4 Pro enables cinematographers to precisely focus by turning the dial and adjusting the lens zoom with the joystick, facilitating smooth and effortless lens control.

Handheld unit DJI Focus Pro

DJI Focus Pro opens the way for innovative autofocus technology with LiDAR and features a high-precision handheld control unit with magnetic damping: Focus Pro Handheld Unit. In cooperative team shoots, the stabilizer operator can control the RS 4 Pro stabilizer via devices such as DJI Master Wheels, the DJI Ronin 4D grips and the high-brightness remote monitor DJI. [3] The jib operator can also activate the LiDAR waveform of the high brightness remote monitor to provide intelligent focus assist [9] for more precise control with the Focus Pro handheld unit.

High-capacity battery grip

Don't stop shooting. With the BG70 high-capacity battery grip DJI RS, [3] increases RS 4 Pro's battery life up to 29 hours. [10] It also allows up to 18 watts of power to be supplied to the camera and accessories via the USB-C port on the bottom.

Focus control ecosystem

DJI Focus Pro offers a complete and powerful lens control solution to filmmakers using RS 4 Pro. Both solo content creation and team collaborations can easily access intelligent autofocus with LiDAR, as well as multi-channel control of focus, aperture and zoom, for dynamic mastery of every focusing movement.

Compatibility with the image transmitter DJI Ronin

Both freelance filmmakers and small crews can use the Ronin [3] image transmitter for HD live feeds, remote stabilizer and camera control, ActiveTrack 4.0, Force Mobile and many other features for an integrated shooting experience with monitoring and control capabilities.

Professional solutions

DJI RS 4 Pro allows for various portable configurations, including case, dual grip and ring mount. [12] In addition, you can use the DJI RS SDK protocol to adopt solutions with car mounts, crane arms, steadicams, cable cams and sliders [12] to meet creative needs in any scenario.

When using DJI RS 4 Pro for the first time, the DJI Ronin application is required to activate it.
