12mm Samyang lens

Combining a wide-angle perspective with a fast maximum aperture, this compact 12mm f/2.0 Samyang AF ultra-wide-angle lens is designed for APS-C format SONY E-mount mirrorless cameras and provides an 18mm focal length perspective equivalent to 35mm-frame format. Two extra-low dispersion elements, an aspherical element and a hybrid aspherical element are incorporated into the lens construction to help control aberrations and distortions for greater clarity and sharpness. Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied to all lens elements to reduce glare and lens ghosting to increase contrast and color fidelity. The bright maximum aperture of f/2.0 excels in harsh lighting conditions and allows greater control over depth of field and focus location. The Linear STM autofocus motor provides fast and quiet focusing, and the lens cylinder incorporates a custom function switch and focus hold button for optimal focus control. The seven-leaf diaphragm to produce a quality of bokeh.
