Hasselblad presents its new A5D aerial camera system

HASSELBLAD is preparing to launch the new series of aerial cameras with a novel quality of

image, the A5D, without internal moving parts. Innovative A5D cameras will provide

international clients in the field of mapping, surveying and

system integration, the latest HASSELBLAD capture technology and lens options without

comparison.

The series lands with three sensors as an option: an A5D-40 and A5D-60 based on the CCD and a

A5D-50c based on the CMOS - and the company plans to release more.

Perry Oosting, Executive Director: "A5D is an important discovery for us, within

of the segment of "special applications" of constant growth and great global demand.

HASSELBLAD has a long history of collaboration with specialized segments of photography and

the development of new technologies. In the 40s, the first camera HASSELBLAD was a camera.

aerial. The Swedish government asked Victor HASSELBLAD if he could build a chamber identical to

one that had been captured, to which he replied, 'No, but I can make a better one.' This mantra

it still exists to this day in HASSELBLAD."

HASSELBLAD has found a solution to the challenges of vibrations in aerial photography

totally rebuilding your cameras without internal moving parts. This solution has been

designed to prevent any accidental movement that may occur due to vibration of

the engines. The result is unrivalled aerial stability, absolute confidence, one more body

lightweight and superior image quality. In tests carried out, it has been verified that the objectives

HASSELBLAD of H system exceed any other target available on the market today.

HASSELBLAD has nine different focal points in their aerial versions, with safety supports

to ensure that the image and sensor are kept in parallel all the time.

What HASSELBLAD asked its engineers was to develop a redesigned aerial platform.

of photography able to provide customers with the highest possible resolution over the area of

targeted approach. The new A5D HASSELBLAD incorporate three special connectors in the part

superior of the body, which allow them to communicate with the navigation control systems of the

aircraft during the flight.
