The ALTA BH-300 is a multi-action ball joint with precision control. It weighs just over 600g/21.2ozs and has a load capacity of 30kg/66lbs with total stability. This spherical ball joint has a separate locking knob, friction knob and turning knob that allow adjustment to your work style. Most photographers like ball joints especially when they do portraits, studio work, and performances. This ball joint easily secures large cameras with long lenses such as 70-200mm and 180 to 400mm. The Arca universal shoe with built-in safety pin provides double security in case you accidentally release your camera.
