Phase One was born in digital format and, pioneering a fully integrated camera with medium and large format optics, we strive to rationalize and reimagine the benefits that a field camera can provide. The XT camera system features medium and large format optics, full digital integration and workflow, and introduces exclusive shutter technology: the X-Shutter.

The XT camera system is the first of its kind: a fully integrated digital field camera that supports medium and large format optics. Seamlessly integrates shutter controls without the need for external power, accessories or cables. Comprised of an IQ4, an XT camera body, an X shutter, and an XT-Rodenstock lens, the camera system puts full control at your fingertips and enables an effortless capture workflow.

• Integrated exposure control.

Compose, focus and shoot: it's that simple. With the full digital integration of the XT camera system, shutter and aperture controls are integrated into the IQ4 touchscreen to enable intuitive, seamless operation with 100% accurate results. Beyond the essential communication of the components, the XT camera body incorporates a single and direct double-action shutter button, all of which elevates the ideals of the field camera to the twenty-first century.

The XT camera system takes full advantage of the Rodenstock optics with 24 mm displacement on the X and Y axes. These movements allow you to correct perspective distortion or create panoramic and stitched images quickly and accurately. The camera's shift position is integrated into the image file, providing immediate feedback for later use.

• Future-proof anchor options

In tune with the professional workflow, multiple anchoring options capable of handling the high bandwidth on the IQ4 are included: Ethernet, USB-C and wireless. All anchoring and local storage options can be combined and customized to meet your specific workflow needs.
Wireless tethering can be used to transfer RAW files to Capture One in addition to storing them in the camera. This solution can be used as a backup or as part of a custom workflow.

Ethernet gives the potential for a fully customized, integrated, and dynamic workflow, providing the potential to capture through any Ethernet-compatible device. In addition, the long cable lengths and power provided over Ethernet eliminate workflow issues surrounding battery power or cable length.

• Dual storage

With support for XQD and SD cards, the IQ4 gives you the flexibility to store captured files in a way that suits your workflow: save a RAW backup or process a JPEG to a second storage option, or simply expand your total storage so you can focus on getting every shot

XQD facilitates faster capture and data transfer speed, ensuring your workflow stays smooth and efficient, even when taking 16-bit RAW images. The IQ4 is ready for CFexpress support.

SD facilitates a more flexible workflow with a widely used card type. You can use SD storage as a second card to expand your total storage (just a bunch of disks - "JBOD"), as a mirrored backup of your primary storage, as the primary storage option or as JPEG storage along with the primary RAW capture. SD is a widely used and easy-to-find type of card that has become a standard within photography. You can easily transfer images to a compatible device in the field without the use of additional accessories or cables, for faster edits, client testing, or backups.

• Integration with XF and XT

The Infinity platform allows the same IQ4 to seamlessly switch between the professional power and functionality of the XF, to the elegance and simplicity of the XT. • Flexible sequencing tools

The automated average frames allow you to capture long-exposure images without the need for filters. This new type of sequencing tool automatically captures and combines a series of images into a single RAW file, reducing noise, extending dynamic range, and protecting reflections.

And with the IQ4, we ensure that you are photographed the Time-lapse and Bracketing tools are available directly from the digital back and operate independently of the camera body, providing open platform support and sequencing possibilities on alternative camera bodies for creative flexibility.
