The MB-D15 Multi-Power battery forNIKON D7100 is a battery grip designed specifically for use with the D7100 digital SLR NIKON camera, and accepts an EN-EL15 battery. With one battery on the MB-D15 and another on the D7100, the recording time is effectively doubled.
Moreover, when one battery is drained, it can be removed and recharged while still shooting with the other battery. In addition, the MB-D15 can be used 6 AA batteries and comes with the MS-D14 AA Battery Holder that slides on the grip. It can also be powered by the optional EH-5b AC adapter (EP-5B power connector).
The grip design offers a comfortable and safe way to celebrate your DSLR, especially in the upright position. And the MB-D15 features an alternate shutter release button, AE/AF lock button, multi-selector and dual control dials for easy taking when in a vertical position. The MB-D15 is built with non-slip rubber grip for improved handling, a tripod to mount the camera to a tripod and employs magnesium alloy equivalent to that in the D7100 body to achieve a dust-prevention and weather-resistant performance superior, .
