The NIKON 20mm f2.8 D AF lens is a wide-angle lens that supports both full-screen (FX) and DX-format cameras. The wide-angle perspective gives you a 94° (70° in DX) angle of view, which is ideal for use with indoor themes as well as objects in wide outdoors. The fast f/2.8 Maximum Aperture makes low-light photography suitable, as well as control over its focal plane for use with shallow depth of field and selective focus applications.

The Close Range System (CRC) correction allows for sharp, more detailed image quality when focusing on topics as close as 9.8"/25cm. Super Integrated Coating (SIC) is a multilayer coating on the lens elements that helps provide a reduction in lens flare and ghosting while improving overall contrast and image quality. This lens autofocus feature is compatible with NIKON DSLRs offering a built-in autofocus motor. It does not support autofocus when used with certain DSLR cameras that do not have an integrated focus motor, such as the D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300.
