aquatech's EVO III water housing allows you to capture the action on and below the surface with your CANON EOS-1D X series DSLR camera. The polyurethane housing comes equipped with a standard left grip and a "palm stop" on the right, and can be changed to suit your needs. There's a shutter button at the usual location for shooting landscapes and another at the bottom for vertical fastenings, and both offer the same medium pressure function for focusing and full pressure for shooting as the camera itself.

Quick release clips and touch controls are made of stainless steel and aluminum. All aluminum parts have been anodized to resist corrosion and other wear. A flash bulkhead sync connector, supplied with flash housings aquatech, allows the EVO III to work with separately available accessories such as external strobe units and pocket assistants. A 1/4"-20 threaded mounting point at the bottom of the housing allows connection to an optional tripod or tray. The housing ships without a required lens port and accepts a number of ports for a wide range of lenses. For complete compatibility information, see the Port Table.

Waterproofing

• Designed for surface use and in shallow water, and should not be operated at depths greater than 15' for more than 5 minutes
