The Nikon's silver COOLPIX A300, a silver and slim COOLPIX A300 NIKON for everyday shooting, offers versatile imaging capabilities along with a convenient form factor. Rotating around a 20.1MP 1/2.3" CCD image sensor, the A300 produces high-resolution still images along with 720p HD video, and offers an extended sensitivity range of up to ISO 3200 for working in low-light conditions. NIKKOR 8x optical zoom covers an equivalent focal length range of 25-200mm, and benefits from hybrid VR to minimize the appearance of camera vibration. In addition, the camera also incorporates a 230k-point 2.7" LCD monitor, as well as SnapBridge wireless connectivity to transfer your images to a smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi + NFC.

• 20.1MP CCD sensor

With a 20.1MP 1/2.3" CCD sensor, the A300 is capable of recording high-resolution still images as well as 720p HD video. The sensor offers a sensitivity range of ISO 80-1600, which can be extended to ISO 3200 to work in low light conditions.

• NIKKOR 8x optical zoom lens

With a wide angle within telephoto range, the NIKKOR 8x optical zoom lens covers an equivalent focal length range of 25-200mm to benefit from working in a wide variety of shooting conditions. This range can be extended even further up to 16x with the dynamic fine zoom for working with distant subjects. The benefit of this range is hybrid VR, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake in up to three stops to help get sharp images.

• SnapBridge Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

The A300 supports a wealth of sharing and tagging possibilities, and features built-in SnapBridge connectivity to enable seamless transfer of images to a mobile device. BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology allows communication between the camera and a smart device, and allows automatic transfer of images when shooting. SnapBridge requires a unique setup and also works in conjunction with NIKON Image Space for file backup and image sharing, and you can also tag transferred images with date, time, and location information to track your trip. In addition, once paired, the mobile device can remotely shoot the shutter and display a live view image from the camera to allow remote work.

In addition to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with NFC is also available, and allows you to wirelessly share full-resolution photos and movies on smartphones or tablets. SnapBridge will automatically switch between the two technologies for a seamless wireless workflow.

Extra slim, compact form factor is ideal to carry in a pocket or purse.
The 2.7" LCD monitor with 230k dots is used to compose images, as well as to navigate the menu and play photos and movies.
The Auto Scene Selector automatically adjusts the camera settings based on the type of scene recognized.
Panorama Assist helps produce panoramic images smoothly by allowing you to scroll through the scene to produce the image.
Target Finding AF automatically detects and quickly binds to a subject for faster shooting times.
The included EN-EL19 rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers approximately 240 shots per charge.
Smart Portrait Mode optimizes settings to produce sharp, well-exposed portraits. This mode includes a flicker detector, to warn you if a subject has blinked during shooting, and a smile detector, so that the shutter automatically opens when the subject smiles. In addition, glamour retouching enhancements can be applied to the camera after shooting, and allow you to add makeup effects such as eye shadow, mascara, and lipstick.
A unique self-portrait mode records a series of four or nine images and automatically composes them into a single image.
Special effects allow you to apply a creative look to images while taking pictures, and include Mirror, Selective Color, Nostalgic Sepia, Paint, Fisheye, and Cross Screen/Star Effect.
