The digital compact camera NIKON COOLPIX AW130 is a waterproof digital camera with a maximum resolution of 16 million pixels NIKON
With a maximum resolution of 16 million pixels, and sensor size of 1/2.3" CMOS type, with a 35mm equivalent focal length zoom lens of 24-120mm.
So we have everything from wide-angle to telephoto perspectives covered, and we highlight its f 2.8 brightness for maximum aperture quality under conditions where light is scarce and the effects of shallow depth of field can be controlled.
The digital compact camera NIKON COOLPIX AW130 therefore has a 5x optical zoom and if the Digital Fine Zoom Dynamic feature is activated, this zoom can be doubled, i.e. up to 10x zoom is possible.
Hybrid Vibration Reduction reduces camera shake to a minimum when taking photos, as well as Full HD 1080p videos, which can be viewed on the large 3.0" LCD, the rear OLED monitor still has 921k dots

V4.0 Equipped Android or later smart devices have the option to connect to the COOLPIX AW130 with NFC (near field communication technology), and the Wi-Fi tethering feature allows you to share to social networking sites and even control the camera remotely via your compatible Apple or Android smartphone or tablet. This camera also features built-in GPS functionality, maps, an electronic compass, and points of interest to not only help you more easily document your travels and adventures, but find memorable photo locations as well. In addition to being able to upload images to your favorite social networking sites, NIKON View NX2 can download software to help you navigate, edit and share your photos and videos.
- 16MP CMOS Sensor
- The 16MP, 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and image processor work together to deliver high-resolution still images and Full HD video, faster contrast-detecting autofocus, 125-6400 ISO sensitivity for clear images in low light - even without flickering in certain situations. Plus, take advantage of 5 fps continuous shooting at full resolution. Intelligent Lens Finding AF quickly determines your intended subject and puts the focus where it belongs. Center, face priority, manual with 99 focus zones and subject tracking modes are also available for autofocus. You can also activate the focus lock function.

- Downloadable NIKON View NX2 Software
- Navigate, edit and share your photos and videos. In addition to basic data import and navigation, View NX2 incorporates several frequently used menus and tools to adjust, such as resize, brightness control, crop, straighten, automatic red-eye correction and side auto color aberration correction. Smoother cooperation with NIKON 's exclusive image storage and sharing site, NIKON Image Space, is also made possible. For videos, start and end points can be set and unnecessary parts deleted and selected frames can be saved. When printing, you can include metadata and a header or footer.
- Power
- The AW130 runs on the rechargeable EN-EL12 lithium-ion battery (included). A charging AC adapter, EH-71P, is also included and will charge the battery in approximately 2 hours 20 minutes off empty. The optional EH-62F AC adapter is available separately.
