The SONY 10-18mm f4 OSS SONY Lens is an ultra-wide angle E-mount zoom lens compatible with Alpha NEX NEX and Handycam cameras. In the 35mm format, focal lengths are equivalent to a 15-27mm view field that is extremely wide-angle with ideal perspectives-exaggerated for extensive landscapes, some creative interiors and portraits and group photos.

With an aperture of f/4.0 across the zoom range, fast shutter speeds and low ISO settings can be used even in low light for sharp, bright images. With the optical SteadyShot image stabilization system it is even easier to shoot sharp photos and videos in low light conditions, regardless of camera movement. Three aspherical lens elements reduce spherical aberration and distortion and Super extra low glass dispersion reduces chromatic aberration for high-quality images even at maximum aperture. Fast autofocus is facilitated by the movement of the lens elements on the back of the lens and the circular aperture 7 of the blade creates smooth bokeh, circular in the out-of-focus areas within the frame.
