Control your NIKON or DSLR CANON Digital Director for iPad MANFROTTO Air. The Digital Director is an advanced fastening solution integrated by three main components: a user-supplied iPad, an Apple Certified Digital iPad Director holder with a system built into a micro processor, and the Digital App Director. These three components work together seamlessly to give you control over the camera's fixed and video functions from the iPad. The Heart of the Digital Director is the iPad holder that has been customized to securely fit the iPad air and features a lock to prevent accidental release. The iPad slides into the holder and the lightning connector provides communication between the iPad and the built-in microprocessor in ARM Cortex A8 at 600 MHz, and a USB cable connects the unit to the camera. The processor allows real-time live view monitoring when shooting still images or videos, as well as high download speeds when transferring full-size JPEG files from the camera's memory card to the iPad.

The intuitive iPad app controls key DSLR camera functions NIKON or CANON, such as focus point, exposure, aperture, and shutter speed.
The app provides real-time live view monitoring, manual focus control with peak focus, and touchscreen autofocus point.
Interactive focus can be used to select the focus point anywhere on the iPad screen. Digital zoom magnifies the selected focus point to ensure sharp and accurate focus.
A toolbar displays histograms, exposure controls, focus controls, color temperature, shutter button, and audio levels when recording video. In the full-screen mode of the floating toolbar you can move anywhere on the screen, and the individual control can be opened and moved away from eliminating on-screen clutter.
Image Star Grades allow you to sort the images, and the app can be arranged into albums, shooting profiles, and connection profiles.
Download full-size JPEG files for iPad and image adjustment of exposure, contrast and light. You can also crop and rotate the image, check the histogram and EXIF data. Once finished, you can share your edited images via FTP, email, or on social media directly from the iPad's running camera.
The app allows you to choose between single-shot mode or continuous mode using the large shutter button on the iPad screen.

Titular director iPad Digital

The Digital Director consists of a custom shaped frame to fit the iPad Air and an electronic interface with a 600 MHz micro ARM Cortex A8 processor. The frame is user replaceable so that it maintains compatibility with future iPads.
A "female thread -16 3.8 allows its holder to attach to a variety of brackets, and two notches to match the anti-torque mounts of MANFROTTO.
Four cold shoe mounts on the back of the Digital Director are provided for fixing various accessories.
The holder is powered by four user-supplied AA batteries or by the included AC adapter, which includes four international adapters: North America, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom.
The Digital Director connects to the camera via the USB port and up to a 32.8' USB cable.
