Atomos Ninja Inferno "Travel Case"

10+ stops dynamic range, Ips panel resolution 1920 x 1200, 10bit color depth.

The Ninja Inferno Atomos is the ultimate in monitor, with end-to-end custom engineering on all its components. It starts with a 1920x1200 resolution LCD panel, adding 10-bit high-light processing and 12-bit black equivalent. This is achieved through the AtomHDR engine perfected with Log algorithms from each camera manufacturer, to give the ultimate brightness and color representation. Finally, the Atomos's backlight, purpose-built with the highest quality LEDs, means the 1500nits can be used for High Bright Rec709 or HDR at 10+ stops.

4Kp60 cameras

The new Ninja Inferno Atomos unlocks the professional performance of 10-bit 4Kp60 cameras, such as the GH5 and DVX200 PANASONIC or the FS7 SONY avoiding internal recording limitations and making the most of the sensor by recording with maximum camera color accuracy, maximum color resolution and maximum dynamic range. Monitor and record in HDR or Rec709 up to 4:2:2 10-bit as Log high bitrate Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR.

4K DCI Cameras

Apart from being an ideal complement to 4Kp60 cameras such as the GH5 PANASONIC , the Ninja Inferno Atomos is the world's first HDMI monitor-recorder to accept 4K DCI signals from cameras such as the GH5/GH4/DVX200/HCX1000/UX180/HCX1 PANASONIC , the FS7/Z100 SONY and the LS300 JVC . Supporting the 4096 DCI standard unlocks cinema recording on these 4K DSLR and mirrorless cameras.

4Kp30 / HDp60 / HDp30 Cameras

In addition, the ninja Inferno Atomos is, of course, a magnificent monitor-recorder for 4K 30p and HD cameras. It provides a recording with more information in Pro-Res, Log signal monitoring, XLR audio monitoring, a 1500 nit screen visible in full light and, above all, with the peace of mind of having a future-proof solution for years.

4K60p 10-bit Pro-Res & DNxHR

Being able to record in 4K 60p from the camera may seem enough, but recording with the wrong codec restricts flexibility and increases the risk of images being rejected for technical reasons. The Ninja Inferno records directly from the sensor in full individual frames, such as the movie, but at 4K 60p Apple Pro-Res or Avid DNxHR with 10-bit color information and accurate and efficient 4:2:2 color coding.

Gaming devices.

The Ninja Inferno records from any HDMI source, including gaming PCs and consoles, in high-frame rate HD and up to 4k 60p. Recording in high-bit-rate Pro Res translates into editing efficiency, which in turn speeds up the response time for distribution on the Internet and, by capturing everything in 10-bit, the high-quality graphics of the games are preserved and the overlapping texts are more transparent in the edition. Possible live event playback on 4K or HD displays and advanced controls, including playlist generation and slow motion, will ensure that everyone feels every shock, every bump and every explosion.

XLR for DSLRs

Monitor and record up to 8 channels of 24-bit HDMI 2.0 digital audio. The audio restrictions of most HDMI cameras will no longer be a problem to reach truly professional levels. The Ninja Inferno incorporates an optional 48V stereo XLR output cable that makes it possible to connect and power external microphones for balanced analog sound. Audio control is straightforward, with dedicated meters and menus for selecting recording/monitoring channels and settings for delay and frame gain.

Edition.

The Ninja Inferno Atomos is as effective in the editing studio as it is in the field, with the recorded files being incorporated directly into the timeline of all major NLE editing and sorting software, with the HDMI input capable of accepting HDR signals, making the Ninja Inferno an incredibly affordable reference HDR monitor for portable or studio color management.

More connectivity.

The rugged housing with built-in armor houses an arsenal of professional connectivity, including full-size HDMI 2.0 for signals up to 4K 60p, an HDMI output for playback to a viewfinder or other monitors, a hot-swappable dual battery system for continuous power with DC network connectivity, automatic HDMI trigger start/stop recording from CANON cameras, SONY, selected PANASONIC and NIKON , and even conversion of interlaced video from the camera to progressive with built-in 3:2 and 2:2 drop-down.
