Laowa continues to supply the market with interesting options for professional users in the creation of cinematic content. This new 65mm lens is a macro lens with 2x magnification capability and is designed for S35 and Aps-c sensors. Its ability to multiply the size of the image provides great versatility of use to photograph or record videos with objects of different sizes.

It has an excellent luminosity of T2.9 to be able to create a minimum depth of field even if we are not using full frame sensors. The manual focus is through a ring with a very smooth rotation and with a rotation of 270º. Its outer thread is 77 mm, so it will be possible to use various filters of standard sizes. Finally, it should be noted that it has standard Mod 0.8 gears for the use of follow focus.

Magnification up to 2 times the actual size

This new professional cinematic lens provides 2x magnification with infinite focus and a minimum focusing distance of only 17 cm, allowing beautiful details to be captured

Construction for video professionals

The new 65mm T2.9 Laowa lens features an elaborate design optimized for film and video production. It dramatically improves efficiency and helps achieve a smoother workflow. An industry-standard mod 0.8 gear is also applied to the apertures and focus rings. The entire lens housing is all-metal, which improves durability in demanding applications. In its structure two Mod 0.9 rings have been arranged and the distances can be checked both in metric or imperial system
