Designed for full-frame cameras, the Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL is currently the widest straight lens in the world. The extraordinary 135° viewing angle allows you to easily capture landscape images and take pictures that were previously impossible. The lens features 2 aspherical elements and 2 ultra-low dispersion elements to minimize distortion and chromatic aberration. Despite its unique perspective, the lens itself is super compact (6cm long) and weighs just 350g. It also offers an extremely close focusing distance of 12cm (from subject to sensor) for close-ups while maintaining an ultra-wide perspective.

Characterized by its extremely wide field of view and rectilinear rendering, the E-mount Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL SONY, from Venus Optics, is a main lens that offers a unique wide perspective that is ideal for interiors, architecture, nature and landscape subjects. The immense 135° viewing angle is complemented by an advanced optical design that uses low-dispersion, aspherical, and high-refractive index elements to control a variety of aberrations and distortions to achieve high sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy. The lens has a manual focus design and allows you to work with subjects up to 4.7" away and its integrated petal-shaped sunshade helps prevent stray light from causing unwanted flare on the lens. In addition, the lens is also characterized by its particularly compact size, which makes it ideal for travel and ride applications.

• The ultra-wide-angle lens is designed for full-frame mirrorless SONY E-mount cameras, but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a focal length equivalent to 13.5mm.
• Two extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce color stripes and chromatic aberrations to produce high color clarity and accuracy.
• Two aspherical elements and an ultra-high refractive index glass element help control distortion and spherical aberrations to improve sharpness and accurate rendering.
