XH Hasselblad Converter

The new XH 0.8 Converter provides new opportunities for photographers in HASSELBLAD allowing you to unlock a completely new set of lenses from the H system. The XH 0.8 converter that is used in HC/HCD lenses coupled to an X system or a 907X camera, reducing the focal length of the lens by a factor of 0.8x, offering a wider field of view and improving the maximum aperture of the lens by two-thirds of the diaphragm. In addition, the XH 0.8 Converter improves lens performance in terms of contrast and apparent sharpness throughout the frame.

With this new Converter an impressive combination is achieved by improving the aperture by attaching the XH 0.8 Converter to the 100mm HC f/2.2 lens, transforming the aperture and focal length to f/1.8 and 80mm, respectively. This creates an extremely fast aperture, even being faster than the 80mm XCD f/1.9 lens, which until now has been the highest aperture lens option for the X and 907X camera systems. An example of reducing the focal length with the XH 0.8 Converter is that when combined with the 24mm f/4.8 HCD lens, it creates an aperture of f/3.8 with a focal length of 19mm. This results in an even wider lens option than the existing XCD 21 lens, the system X's most angular lens.

The XH 0.8 Converter joins the range of HASSELBLAD adapters and converters, including the XH lens adapter that allows the use of all H system lenses without any conversion in the X and 907X camera systems. The addition of the XH 0.8 Converter to the existing accessory line provides these systems with improved functionality for H lenses. In addition, H-system users who decide to switch to X or 907X systems get more versatility with their current HC/HCD lenses.
